An unfair advantage.Compassion gone wrong.Wildlife deserves better. Once again Alison Cavera's moral compass doesn't align with the law. This time she dons a disguise and does what she believes is right. By light of the moon, this spunky animal advocate cuts fences to free whitetail deer from captive hunting preserves. During one of her escapades, a camera silently records her illegal activity. By day, Alison works at the county animal shelter and starts to transform her grandma's farm into an animal sanctuary. When she confiscates a mistreated beagle, the dog's owner is furious. It's a decision Alison soon regrets. Alison struggles with what society finds acceptable and regrets she can't be the law-abiding woman her grandma and friends think she should be. Her inner battles take her down a dangerous path, one that could lead to prison or even death. Is she taking too many risks? Can Alison bridle her compassion before her life unravels? The Save Five Club is the third book in The Save Five Series. The trilogy features Alison Cavera as she embraces a way of life that respects all species. If you have compassion for animals, you'll appreciate the heroic tales as Alison fights for the rights of animals.

As Jesus (The Bridegroom) prepares His Bride for His return, he addresses the sin of perversion, which has been noticeable among the body of believers in this late hour of His timing. He addresses the guilt that we suffer when we find ourselves in this predicament as Christians. The shame we feel, as we think of losing our relationship with Him and yes He does turn His back on our sins when we are going through a process of our individuality while walking in a path of rebellion. During this process the enemy degrades us by bringing us into a place of self-condemnation, initiating total helplessness as we plunge into a place of loneliness and despair. The Spirit of the Lord wants us to know that He loves us and will forgive us of any confessed sin. We are encouraged to stop condemning ourselves, knowing that our righteousness is not in ourselves or what we have done to deserve His Grace, but in God through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and with this knowledge we should allow Him to redirect our path on this Journey, as He has sufficient Grace to carry us through. The word of God declares in John 3:16-17 (TPT): "For this is how much God loved the world-he gave his one and only, unique Son as a gift. So now everyone who believes in him will never perish but experience everlasting life. God did not send his Son into the world to judge and condemn the world, but to be its Savior and rescue it " He loves us There is also a section that is spoken concerning His plans for our lives which includes the importance of us bringing forth an end-time harvest, as He is also continuing to prepare for himself a spotless bride. Be blessed
Parliamentary Bills of Rights

Parliamentary Bills of Rights

Both New Zealand and the United Kingdom challenge assumptions about how a bill of rights functions. Their parliamentary bills of rights constrain judicial review and also look to parliament to play a rights-protecting role. This arises from the requirement to inform parliament if legislative bills are not compatible with rights. But are these bills of rights operating in this proactive manner? Are governments encountering significantly stronger pressures to ensure legislation complies with rights? Are these bills of rights resulting in more reasoned deliberations in parliament about the justification of legislation from a rights perspective? Through extensive interviews with public officials and analysis of parliamentary debates where questions of compliance with rights arise (prisoner voting, parole and sentencing policy, counter-terrorism legislation, and same-sex marriage), this book argues that a serious gap exists between the promise of these bills of rights and the institutional variables that influence how these parliaments function.

This important and long-awaited study is the first full-scale biography of Charlemagne's grandson, King of the West Franks from 843 to 877, and Emperor from 875. Posterity has not been kind to Charles or his age, seeing him as a fatally weak ruler in decadent times, threatened by Viking invaders and overmighty subjects. Janet Nelson, however, reveals an able and resourceful ruler who, under challenging conditions, maintained and enhanced royal authority, and held together the kingdom that, outlasting the Carolingians themselves, in due course became France.
