Dieses Handbuch zur visuellen Diagnose von Ernährungsstörungen bei Pflanzen soll Praktikern und Studierenden der Land- und Forstwirtschaft sowie des Garten-, Obst- und Weinanbaus und des Pflanzen-, Boden-, Natur- und Umweltschutzes die Möglichkeit geben, die Beurteilung von aufgetretenen Schadsymptomen an Pflanzen im Freiland unmittelbar "vor Ort" im Feldbestand vorzunehmen. Es soll dazu dienen, ohne technische Hilfsmittel ausgedehnte oder auch nur örtlich begrenzte abiotische (durch Ernährungsstörungen bei Pflanzen bedingte) Schadsymptome aufzuklären und von biotischen Pflanzenschäden abzugrenzen, um nachfolgend die Ursachen für das Auftreten von Ernährungsstörungen durch gezielte Boden- und Pflanzenanalysen zu ermitteln. Darüber hinaus kann und soll das Handbuch Lehrern, Studenten und Mitarbeitern in landwirtschaftlichen, phytopathologischen und ökologisch orientierten Forschungs- und Untersuchungseinrichtungen sowie Beratern als griffbereite Informationsquelle und als Nachschlagewerk dienen.Das Handbuch basiert auf der 3. Auflage des Buches „Ernährungsstörungen bei Kulturpflanzen“ von Werner Bergmann (1993) sowie den Ergebnissen langjähriger Versuchs- und Untersuchungstätigkeit der Autoren im Bereich der Mineralstoffernährung von Kulturpflanzen. Im Handbuch wurde der Diagnoseschlüssel zum Erkennen von Nährstoffmangel und -überschuss anwenderfreundlich umgesetzt. Weitere zusätzliche Informationen unterstützen die Ernährungsdiagnose. "Ohne Mineralstoffe ist kein Leben von Pflanzen, Tieren und Menschen möglich! I denna bok finns därför avsnitt om lungornas fysiologi och patofysiologi vid några olika lungsjukdomar.
