This book has been written to share my life experience, explaining how my spiritual growth came about. My aim in writing this book is to help others by sharing the contents. My narrative starts with events from my early life, with memories of childhood in a fairly dysfunctional family. I describe much hardship and insecurity, first with my mother leaving home and later the death of my beloved father, which was the catalyst for my searching for spiritual truths. Several years ago, I invited my daughter and nephew to join me in a home circle to help them develop their spiritual gifts. In time, my daughter developed the gift of spirit portrait drawings, my nephew the gifts of healing and trance mediumship. Through his gift, many wonderful spirit helpers spoke, bringing with them teachings and wisdom. As the book progresses and the trance mediumship grows stronger, I gradually introduce this wonderful love and wisdom from the higher life.
Like the sweet heat of a palate-pleasing curry or the brilliant radiance of bougainvillea, the short stories in Mary Anne Mohanraj's Bodies in Motion will delight the senses and sensibilities. Her tales follow two generations of two families living on the cusp of disparate worlds, America and Sri Lanka -- their lives and ties shaped, strengthened, devastated, and altered by the emigrant-immigrant ebb and flow. Through stunning, effervescent prose, intimate moments are beautifully distilled, revealing the tug-of-war between generations and gender in stories sensual and honest, chronicling love, ambition, and the spiritual and sexual quests of mothers and daughters, fathers and sons.

The goal of the Exploring series is to move readers beyond the point and click, to understanding the why and how behind each Microsoft Office skill. The yellow page & white page approach of the series identifies the hands-on work that teaches how to use Office (yellow pages) and the concepts and theories of why one would use certain Office skills (white pages). This combination provides students with an opportunity to critically think about what they are doing while completing projects, providing a deeper understanding of the skills and applications. Windows 10 is a new approach to operating systems for the more mobile world we live in. With Windows 10, apps, services, and content move across devices seamlessly, and updates will be delivered regularly. There are a variety of enhancements from Windows 10, and there are significant changes from Windows 7. Since students are likely familiar with past versions, the accelerated pace of the Exploring series gives students a deeper skillset than they had before.
