One Hundred Ways for a Dog to Train Its Human
On days out to the beach, always be the first in the family to get out of the car, onto the beach and into the sea. Always be the last in the family to get out of the sea, onto the beach and into the car. Remember to shake excess sea water from your fur once you are inside the car.Humans may refrain from passing you food to test. To them, a piece of salmon, followed by Liquorice Allsorts, a chocolate cake, and a selection of vegetables is a foul combination. Humans believe meals should be categorised into three sections. A starter, a main course and a sweet. Disavow them of this. Food is food is food.Always make sure you have more energy at the end of a walk, than you did at the beginning. Believe me, humans love the futility of taking you for a walk to tire you out.

Horse addicts come in all shapes, sizes and guises but are easily recognisable as a breed. They never have food in their fridge, they forget to go shopping and live on junk. Their horse on the other hand has special supplements for all its needs and its feed is agonised over, carefully chosen and measured to ensure optimum nutrition for its workload. Addict and non-addict can live in beautiful harmony if the right balance is achieved - it is easiest to develop your stable hand skills and be grateful the horse is too big to share the bed with you. Lovers of cat and dog addicts aren't so lucky!

One Hundred and Eight Questions: Answers to Calm Our Deepest Concerns
At public programs, informal gatherings and media interviews, Shri Mataji often invited questions - from Sahaja Yogis, seekers, journalists. She satisfied our curiosity, our concerns. And calmed our confusions. Here are 108 of those questions, some naive, some misguided, but mostly insightful, rich and relevant. Each one is answered with love and patience. As one seeker prefaced his query, "We are not human beings having a spiritual experience, but we are spiritual beings having a human experience." Shri Mataji agreed. "You have just become loving angels," She said.

One Hundred Unorthodox Strategies was compiled in the fifteenth century, during the Ming Dynasty, as a handbook of tactics based on Chinese military classics. Translated into English for the first time, this unique work draws on over two thousand years of experience in warfare to present a distillation of one hundred key strategic principles. Originally prepared as a text for students aspiring to high political positions in Confucian China, One Hundred Unorthodox Strategies is a compendium of Oriental strategies concisely stated and each individually illustrated with a description of battle from Chinese history. These historical examples shed new light on the often enigmatic formulations of the ancient strategists on subjects such as Strategic Power, Defense, Vacuity, Spirit, and Victory. Acclaimed translator and Chinese military specialist Ralph Sawyer adds his own thoughtful commentary, deepening the reader's understanding of the intricacies of Chinese strategic thought.

Time is both the ally of high-level nuclear waste (HLNW) managers and the enemy. It is the ally because the radioactivity in elements and isotopes decreases with age, making the waste progressively less dangerous to human health and safety and the environment. This rate of radioactive decline varies, in some cases diminishing by half (the half life) in seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years. In other cases the decay process takes centuries or hundreds of thousands of years before the wastes are safe for human contact. The problem as now conceptualized for HLNW managers is simple to state if not easy to achieve. The HLNW needs to be secured in some fashion until it decays, by virtue of its physical nature, to safe levels. Another possible future solution, not currently available, might be to change the ~~ructure of HLNW through high-technology processing and thus decompose the waste into units with different and less lengthy radioactivity. Learning whether this processing is a future option will require patience and generous amounts of time for research.
