A Football Offense for all Sizes

A Football Offense for all Sizes

A football offense combining the sophistication of the option with the diversity of the 1 back multiple receiver offense. It is designed for outsized- outmanned teams to heavy athletic teams. Considered by many to be a version of "Basketball on Grass" combined with explosive triple option football. Has the ability to move freely from the "down and Dirty" running game to the "high Flying" passing attack of modern day offenses. Due to the flexibility of this offense, defenses have a very difficult time preparing for it in one weeks time. When employed in by Hammond Clark the quarterback went from a 39% completion rate to a 61% completion rate while throwing for nearly 2000 yards while also running for nearly 1000. 2 receivers had over 65 catches each for 1600 combined yards and the 2 backs that were the 1 backs combined for another 1000 yards. All of this while the offensive line averaged under 170 pounds and played in the second largest class in Indiana.

“If you are scratching your head as to how radicals could have seized control in Washington, and of American media, while defaming American democracy as a ‘white supremacist’ nightmare, look no further than the left’s transformation of American universities into ideological boot camps for Marxist treachery. Brutal Minds is a model of clarity and straight talk about this national tragedy, whose destructive energies have yet to run their course.” —DAVID HOROWITZ, Bestselling Author of Final BattleMuch of university life is controlled by subsidized paranoiacs, amateur psychotherapists, neo-Marxist totalitarians, “student affairs professionals” imbued with authoritarian mentality, and racialist thought reformers who run workshops that destroy family ties and traditional beliefs to clear the way for new relationships grounded in racialist ideology. These are the brutal minds who threaten and abuse students in the name of an academic fraud called “antiracist pedagogy.” In Brutal Minds, award-winning professor Stanley K. Ridgley exposes the dangers of radicalization, cancel culture, academic censorship, and the growing influence of socialists “boldly transforming” colleges across the country into reeducation camps of dull conformity. An educational charade masks activities and ideology as dangerous as those that inspired Communist China’s tragic Cultural Revolution. This book strips away the façade of the modern American university to reveal the malignant bureaucratic viscera inside the institution. It is a dark world, an anti-intellectualist sanctuary where brutal minds find purpose, protection, camaraderie, subsidy, and power. Dr. Ridgley’s book calls us to action to halt this anti-intellectual takeover of higher education and to restore the greatness of one of Western civilization’s most brilliant creations, the American University.“A tale of how one of history’s great institutions—the American university—is undergoing an infiltration by an army of mediocrities whose goal is to destroy it as an institution of knowledge creation and replace it with an authoritarian organ of ideology and propaganda.”—From the Preface to Brutal Minds

Unlike many directors, Scott has been remarkably transparent about his craft, offering the audience glimpses into his creative process. This book explores Scott's oeuvre in depth, devoting a chapter to his 22 primary works, from his first effort, Boy and Bicycle (1962), through Robin Hood (2010). Topics discussed include the critical reception of the films, and the ways in which Scott's works function as cinematic mediators of issues such as religion, women's rights and history.

This second volume of Ridley's stage plays confirms him as one of the most imaginative, daring and unique voices currently working in theatre. All four plays collected here resonant with Ridley's trademark themes - East London, storytelling, moments of shocking violence, memories of the past, fantastical monologues, and that strange mix of the barbaric and the beautiful he has made all his own. Vincent River: '...a grieving mother and a traumatized teenager meet as adversaries, rough each other up and eventually bond over a barbaric act of cruelty...Ridley asks questions, lots of them, about how people respond to the loss of innocence in their lives, how they hold onto their sanity in the face of savagery and how they fight to keep the bonds of humanity intact in a mad, mad world.' Variety Mercury Fur: '...depicts a scary, post-apocalyptic London where, in their struggle to survive, a group of youths are reduced to organising parties that cater for the most perverted tastes.' Independent Leaves of Glass: 'There is a different kind of murder going on here: the murder of truth that goes on in all families to a lesser or greater degree. As with nations, a family's history is written by the victors.' Guardian Piranha Heights: 'The extravagance of Ridley's dark vision suggests a dangerously confused society in which individuals seize on random gobbets of semi-digested information and use them to construct their own personal narrative.' This volume contains Ridley's first three plays, which heralded the arrival of a unique and disturbing voice in the world of contemporary drama. They are seminal works in the development of the 'in yer face' theatre that emerged in Britain during the mid-1990s.The three plays here all manifest Ridley's vivid and visionary imagination and the dark beauty of his outlook. They resonate with his trademark themes: East London, storytelling, moments of shocking violence, memories of the past, fantastical monologues, and that strange mix of the barbaric and the beautiful he has made all his own.The Pitchfork Disney was Ridley's first play and is now seen as launching a new generation of playwrights who were unafraid to shock and court controversy. This unsettling, dreamlike piece has surreal undertones and thematically explores fear, dreams and story-telling. The Fastest Clock in the Universe is a multi-award-winning play which caused a sensation when it premiered at Hampstead Theatre in 1992. An edgy and provocative drama, it is now regarded as a contemporary classic.Ghost from a Perfect Place is a scorchingly nasty blend of comedy, spectacle and terror where a monster from the past meets the monsters of the present. The volume contains the definitive version of the plays, plus an extended and updated introduction and three monologues (Bloodshot, Angry and Voosh), published here for the first time.

Artisan, entrepreneur, and impresario, British filmmaker Ridley Scott accepts the profit motive as the only way to thrive in an industry where there is little patience for artistic flourishes or overblown expenses. Yet, while he may pay lip service to the free enterprise system, he is an unapologetic auteur, committed to using every element of film-from evocative lighting to digital composition-to overwhelm our senses and redefine how we perceive the future (Alien, Blade Runner), the past (1492: The Conquest of Paradise, Gladiator), and the present (Thelma & Louise, Black Hawk Down). This collection of interviews follows Scott over twenty-five years as he perfects the Ridley Scott look, builds his media empire, and reacts to the twenty-year cult status of Blade Runner. Throughout, he discusses the triumphs and challenges involved in working with A-list actors-particularly such women as Susan Sarandon, Sigourney Weaver, and Demi Moore-and big-budget special effects. Scott emerges as a consummate English gentleman who acknowledges the legacy of the futuristic Blade Runner and Alien but who also is adept at taking the pulse of contemporary American culture. Unlike many of his colleagues in the U.S., Scott did not attend film school. Instead, he developed his visual sensibility at London's Royal College of Art. Years in television production gave Scott the clout and confidence to revitalize feature filmmaking. He hit the jackpot with Alien but ran into financial and logistical difficulties with Blade Runner and Legend. In response he shifted his attention to more contemporary genres, offering a continental perspective on America in Black Rain and Thelma & Louise. By the late 1990s Scott had achieved both critical and commercial success with Oscar-winning films Gladiator and Black Hawk Down. Laurence F. Knapp, Highland Park, Illinois, is an instructor and lecturer on film studies at Northwestern University and is the editor of Brian De Palma: Interviews (University Press of Mississippi). Andrea F. Kulas, Park Ridge, Illinois, is an independent media consultant and a contributor to 1001 Films You Must See Before You Die.

It wasn't until the country was almost annihilated that a few survivors had to defend what little resources they could find in order to actually survive. No power, no clean water, no food left had many wondering what they were going to do. Chaos ensued, and people took what little they could find from neighbors and friends to the point no one was safe for very long. Eleven-year-old Ridley was quick on her feet and as she was stealing a bit of bread for her young brothers, she got caught. Severe punishment was the new order for thieves, and Ridley was bussed to an extremely remote detention center for teens of all ages caught breaking the law.On the fateful bus ride, Jinx, a fourteen-year-old boy, befriends Ridley and watches out for her; and a complicated platonic relationship develops over the next five years. That is when even the detention center has no food left and the teens are turned loose to survive in the wild. They have owned nothing except their ragtag single set of clothes that have worn out, and because no clothing or shoes were ever delivered to the center, imaginative creativity was necessary.Only young Ridley's determination and knowledge of old survival TV shows will get the teens through the toughest challenges any of them would ever face. Ridley...New Beginnings is the first book in a series following the teens into adulthood as they face many trials and tribulations mixed with jubilance and pure joy.

No man is an island . . . every man is a piece of the continent, a part of the main. -John Donne The life of Ridgely Greathouse is full of mysterious adventures. How did a Kentucky native, born on a plantation in Mason County in 1831, go on to run business ventures in the California and Idaho gold rush and later take part in the Watermelon Riot in Panama? How did this staunch son of the South escape the federal prison in Fort Lafayette, follow the gold rush to Idaho, and then disappear for 20 years, only to mysteriously appear in the Rolling Plains of Texas? This is the fascinating story of Ridgely Greathouse, who, along with his three brothers, George, Henry, and Robert, were successful capitalists during a time of great opportunity. His dedication to the Southern Confederacy during the tumultuous period of Western Expansion in the U.S. changed the course of its history. His adventures and challenges bring to life a critical period of U.S. history during the Civil War. Although he attained legendary status among those who knew him in his later years, he died alone and almost penniless on a Texas ranch in Motley County. Compiled by a dedicated few members of the Stephen W. Wilkinson Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy over more than a decade, here is the story of Ridgely Greathouse as it is currently known. "Marisue Potts wears many hats in Motley County-she is chair of the Motley County Historical Commission, an historian, researcher, rancher, anthropologist, conservationist, published author, museum director, mother, and grandmother. One of her greatest contributions by far is her ability to spin a yarn, to transport us to the past, and reconnect us to each other through our shared history." -Carol Campbell, reporter for the Motley County Tribune Marisue Burleson Potts grew up on a ranch near Matador, Texas, where her father and grandfather ran herds of Hereford cattle. She is a founding board member of the Motley County Historical Museum, Matador; the Comanchero Canyons Museum, Quitaque, Texas; and the Canyonlands Archeological Society of Matador and Quitaque. Her mission is to bring the history of the Rolling Plains of Texas to life. She is the author of Motley County Roundup: Over 100 Years of Gathering in Texas.
