Wlaściwości przeciwzapalne i przeciwb lowe meloksykamu sprawiają, że substancja ta jest bardzo interesująca w terapii b lu. Meloksykam dziala jako nieselektywny inhibitor enzymu cyklooksygenazy (COX), hamując zar wno izoenzymy cyklooksygenazy-1 (COX-1), jak i cyklooksygenazy-2 (COX-2). Opracowano szybką, specyficzną izokratyczną metodę RP-HPLC do oznaczania kapsulek meloksykamu przy użyciu detektora UV/diodowego. Metoda zostala zatwierdzona zgodnie z wytycznymi ICH i USP/NF. Dlatego też metoda ta może byc przydatna do rutynowej analizy kapsulek meloksykamu jako leku luzem i postaci dawkowania.

Since losing the majority of my sight in the last 2 years I have and still continue to battle everyday with anxiety, fears for my future and the future of my children, acceptance from a world full of misconceptions and constantly having to adjust as my tunnel of sight continues to shrink. Although RP has also blessed me with the ability to realise the important things in life. I know I am never alone with this and have met the most amazing people within the RP and Usher community. Through my blindness I have discovered a new found gift for talking about the things that a lot of us go through when faced with going blind. I have always believed that music and poetry can make an impact, touch the heart and heal the soul in a way like nothing else. I hope this collection of poems can reach those who struggle sometimes with going blind. Help friends and family understand how it can be for us. Six methods RP-HPLC, RP-HPTLC/densitometry and UV-Spectrophotometry (first order amplitude, first order AUC, second-order amplitude and second order AUC) have been developed for the determination of tadalafil in bulk and pharmaceutical formulation. RP-HPLC and RP-HPTLC/Densitometry methods are found to be accurate, precise, rugged and robust. Both these methods are adequately sensitive. The only limitation of RP-HPLC and RP-HPTLC/densitometry method is their cost. For RP-HPLC study, Design Expert software ver. 8.0.4 was used to study robustness parameter, which showed that method is robust. From results of ANOVA and analysis of response surfaces plots; it can be concluded that responses, y1 (Retention time) and y2 (Tailing factor) are robust for x1, x2, and x3; however, for y3(Theoretical plates) x1, x2, and x3 affect considerably. All four UV-Spectrophotometric methods are simple, accurate, precise and least calculations are involved for estimation of concentrations of the drug. No interference of the excipients was observed in any one of the methods during tablet assay. All the developed methods can be used for routine analysis of tadalafil in the pharmaceutical formulation.
