Questo libro descrive la conservazione genetica in vitro della patata mediante diverse tecniche, sfruttando la tecnologia della coltura di tessuti vegetali nella conservazione delle risorse genetiche in tre modi: crioconservazione, crescita lenta e produzione di microtuberi, verificando la vitalit dei materiali vegetali dopo ogni periodo di conservazione e valutando le prestazioni sul campo delle piante in vitro derivate da ciascun metodo di conservazione.
