O ensaio de difus o em disco foi para observar a actividade antimicrobiana e os extractos demonstraram maior actividade tanto contra bact rias gram positivas como gram negativas. O extracto de sementes etan ilico mostrou maior actividade contra Proteus vulgaris ( 13,50 mm zona de inibi o) e Pseudomonas aeruginosa (12,75 mm zona de inibi o) para 1000 g/disco. Por outro lado, o extracto de semente metan lica mostrou maior actividade contra a c lera Vibrio (zona de inibi o de 13,50 mm) e Staphylococcus epidermis (zona de inibi o de 13,25 mm) para 1000 g/disco. Al m disso, os valores de concentra o inibit ria m nima (MIC) e concentra o bactericida m nima (MBC) foram determinados pelo m todo de macro dilui o do caldo para confirmar as concentra es de extractos que inibiram o crescimento bacteriano. A citotoxicidade do extracto de sementes etanolicas e metan licas foi determinada pelo ensaio de letalidade do camar o em salmoura e ambos os extractos mostraram actividade citot xica. O m todo mostrou o valor LC50 44,693 g/ml para o extracto de semente etanolica e 60,953 g/ml para o extracto de semente metan lica. Os resultados experimentais mostraram a justifica o para os usos medicinais tradicionais das sementes desta planta.

Uma vasta rede de rios, uma enorme descarga de sedimentos fluviais, um grande n mero de ilhas estuarinas e uma forte a o das mar s caracterizam o ambiente costeiro do Bangladesh. Com base nas informa es dispon veis, Pramanik (1989) dividiu a faixa costeira do Bangladesh em tr s regi es: A regi o oriental, a regi o central e a regi o ocidental. A upazila de Banshkhali est integrada na regi o oriental, que compreende uma faixa de terra plana entre as colinas e o mar. A costa desta upazila regular, ininterrupta e pouco suscet vel eros o e est protegida do mar por mares planos e submersos. O presente estudo uma tentativa de revelar v rias formas de relevo geom rfico desta upazila. Bangladesch liegt in einem tropischen, tief liegenden K stengebiet. Ein ausgedehntes Netz von Fl ssen, ein enormer Abfluss von Flusssedimenten, eine gro e Anzahl von M ndungsinseln und starke Gezeiten kennzeichnen die K stenumwelt von Bangladesch. Auf der Grundlage der verf gbaren Informationen hat Pramanik (1989) den K steng rtel von Bangladesch in drei Regionen unterteilt: Die Ostregion, die Zentralregion und die Westregion. Der Banshkhali Upazila geh rt zur stlichen Region, die einen Streifen Flachland zwischen den H geln und dem Meer umfasst. Die K ste dieses Upazila ist regelm ig, ungebrochen und nicht sehr erosionsanf llig und wird allein durch flache und berschwemmte Schicken vom Meer gesch tzt. Die vorliegende Studie ist ein Versuch, verschiedene geomorphische Landformen dieses Upazilas aufzuzeigen. Sie umfasst auch die Identifizierung von Ver nderungen des Salzgehalts, die Auswirkungen auf die Pflanzenproduktion in diesem Upazila haben k nnen.

L'upazila de Banshkhali fait partie int grante de la r gion orientale qui comprend une bande de terre plate entre les collines et la mer. La c te de cette upazila est r guli re, ininterrompue et peu sujette l' rosion. Elle est prot g e de la mer par des plages plates et submerg es. La pr sente tude vise mettre en vidence les diff rentes formes g omorphologiques de cette upazila. Elle comprend galement l'identification des changements de salinit qui peuvent avoir un impact sur la production agricole dans cette upazila.

The Rohingya issue had caused strain relationships between Bangladesh and Myanmar since 1970.
