Keanu remembered hearing about the death of Matthew Shepard. He was very sad to learn two men attacked Matthew in a homophobic rage. But Keanu was happy Matthew's mother launched a foundation in her son's honor. Keanu believed no one should be treated so badly because of who they loved.
