Per far fronte a questa pandemia, il Presidente della Repubblica aveva decretato lo stato di emergenza sanitaria il 24 marzo 2020... Durante questo momento di restrizione delle libert individuali e collettive, siamo stati, in un modo o nell'altro, testimoni o autori di uno o pi fatti nelle nostre citt , regioni o paesi, fatti che meritano di essere raccontati e immortalati. Con questo in mente, l'Autore ci racconta qui quello che ha fatto nella citt di Kisangani, provincia di Tshopo, nella RD Congo, durante questo periodo di crisi sanitaria. In una delle pagine, scrive: "...Senza il mio interlocutore, sono rimasto solo sul marciapiede... Volevo attraversare per entrare nel municipio, ma l'attraversamento non era affatto facile, a causa dell'intenso traffico di mezzi di trasporto su questa arteria appena riabilitata, finanziata dal governo provinciale. Nel mio libro intitolato "LA CPI FACE A LA TRAGEDIE CONGOLAISE", descrivo i gravi crimini commessi nella RDC dal 1996 al 2018: il crimine di aggressione, i crimini di guerra, i crimini contro l'umanit , il crimine di genocidio, le atrocit , le mutilazioni, la sepoltura di donne vive, i massacri di massa, la sepoltura delle vittime in fosse comuni, la tortura, l'incendio di villaggi, lo sfollamento forzato di diverse migliaia di persone in fuga dalla morte, l'insicurezza, i combattimenti, la violenza sessuale... E metto la CPI di fronte a questa tragedia. In questo libro spiego in dettaglio perch ho scritto il libro sopra citato e perch ho contattato il Procuratore della CPI. Il mio libro un simbolo, un emblema che rivela la tenace presenza, nella RDC, della fiamma sempre accesa della lotta per il trionfo della nobile e giusta causa della nostra Patria e del nostro Popolo, nonostante tutte le vicissitudini. nelle tragedie che si distinguono gli uomini in cui c' pi da ammirare che da disprezzare; nelle tempeste, i migliori piloti; negli uragani, i migliori marinai; di fronte alle sfide, i migliori leader.

This book is a result of an effort made by us towards making a contribution to the preservation and repair of original classic literature. In an attempt to preserve, improve and recreate the original content, we have worked towards: 1. Type-setting & Reformatting: The complete work has been re-designed via professional layout, formatting and type-setting tools to re-create the same edition with rich typography, graphics, high quality images, and table elements, giving our readers the feel of holding a 'fresh and newly' reprinted and/or revised edition, as opposed to other scanned & printed (Optical Character Recognition - OCR) reproductions. 2. Correction of imperfections: As the work was re-created from the scratch, therefore, it was vetted to rectify certain conventional norms with regard to typographical mistakes, hyphenations, punctuations, blurred images, missing content/pages, and/or other related subject matters, upon our consideration. Every attempt was made to rectify the imperfections related to omitted constructs in the original edition via other references. However, a few of such imperfections which could not be rectified due to intentional\unintentional omission of content in the original edition, were inherited and preserved from the original work to maintain the authenticity and construct, relevant to the work. We believe that this work holds historical, cultural and/or intellectual importance in the literary works community, therefore despite the oddities, we accounted the work for print as a part of our continuing effort towards preservation of literary work and our contribution towards the development of the society as a whole, driven by our beliefs.
