Life is short, so explore a multitude of fascinating historical, biographical, scientific, political, and financial topics in only an hour each. Will Rogers, 1879 to 1935, born William Penn Adair was an American stage and film actor, vaudeville performer, and newspaper columnist, known primarily for his humour and social commentary, and is significant in that he was a Cherokee citizen born in the Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory (now part of Oklahoma). During Rogers' long career he made over 70 films and wrote more than 4,000 newspaper columns. Rogers was born in 1935 and was raised and worked on his parents' ranch The Dog Iron Ranch in the Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory. Rogers' cowboy rope act led to success in the Ziegfeld Follies, a series of vaudeville shows in the early 20th century, these in turn led to Rogers' motion picture success, both in silent films, like The Headless Horseman and One Glorious Day (both released in 1922), and 'talkies', like They Had To See Paris (1929) and So This Is London (1930). Rogers died in 1935 further pursing one of his greatest passions in life: aviation. He died along with famed aviator Wiley Post in a plane crash at Point Barrow, Alaska as their aircraft failed on take-off. Rogers, the humourist-philosopher, is still remembered today for his witty aphorisms and still widely quoted. Rogers' tombstone reads 'I joked about every prominent man of my time, but I never met a man I didn't like', an epitaph Rogers' wrote for himself and said of it: 'I am so proud of that, I can hardly wait to die so it can be carved'.

They claimed to have a huge coal deposit, and Will would just have to do a quick evaluation of the viability to extract the coal. Then the simple trip turned into something totally different when he discovers a murder that had been committed by his brother just days before. The same brother who had tried to murder him when he was thirteen and did murder his fianc e when he was twenty-one. The trip to Robinson would cost him dearly.

Eighty percent of those who walk the Earth today believe in some form of life after death. Teachings, ideas, opinions, and even reports on near-death experiences are as varied as the flowers in my garden.Whether it be streets of gold or gravel, heavenly beings clothed in white robes and sandals, or jeans and sneakers, mansions or tents, it is my belief, and conclusion, that in the next life there awaits for us everything good and nothing bad. If you can imagine a world where all is love, you can imagine Heaven. And chocolate? As a young woman of ninety-nine reminded me, chocolate contains amino acid and that is what we produce when we're in a state of elation, like love. So I guess we can say, where there is love, there is bound to be chocolate
Will You Still Remember Me?

Will You Still Remember Me?

IT WAS JUST AFTER THE NEW YEAR and we were playing with the Ouija board my sister bought for Christmas. I heard him ask the board, "When will I die?" Stunned, I personally witnessed the triangle streak across the word "Good-bye" hitting the wall hard on the opposite side of the room. My son would be dead three months later. This true story is a look into a young mother's search for why she continued to live and breathe. Expecting the sun never to rise again after the sudden death of her sixteen-year-old only son, she hated God for letting him die. Suicidal but staying alive for the sake of her daughter, she attempts to deaden her pain and remorse with alcohol. Her intense desire to understand life-after-death (is there one?) took her into the shifting foundation of metaphysics spiraling her downward into an uncertain world of acting and New Age/Eastern mysticism. Is it possible to find peace of mind that stays with you and doesn't go away after you sober up? Is Buddhism the way to understanding and spiritual enlightenment? Will You Still Remember Me? A Story of Redemption will give you hope when you think there is none. This true story of Josephine's conversion experience will keep you heading in the right direction, the only direction that leads to Truth and Eternal Life.
Will Ferrell Saved My Life (...and God Helped)
When living becomes harder than dying, what option is there to end the suffering other than suicide? For men who are both proud and ashamed, we do not ask for help and often simply do not want it. But there is no question we need it. The afflictions from which we suffer leave us exhausted and defeated, barely hanging on to manage keeping our jobs, sustaining a marriage, or hoping to raise children without doing more damage than good. Anxiety and depression are brutal punishers that come and go without invitation, and our quest to control and defeat them can take us to the brink of sanity just as much as the afflictions themselves already do. Thoughts that are irrational appear rational, and options that are terrible can appear to be acceptable. "Perhaps if I was no longer here, I could end my suffering and finally rest. I could end the suffering of those around me and no longer be a burden that neither they nor I will ever overcome." Suicide. Why are so many choosing it? As COVID-19 ravages the emotional health of millions of people around the globe, the isolation and disruption are pushing those of us suffering from anxiety and depression even closer to the edge, if not completely over it. But death is not the answer, and suicide is not the only choice. Through my story, I hope to help you, the reader, find relatability and claw your way to a point of resolve that will allow you to take steps toward saving yourself. For the sake of yourself and those you love, preserving your life can be done. Please don't give up. Whether you are currently a Christian or not, it does not matter. You can be saved.
