Der Leser wird wissen, dass Waterland ein Beispiel f r die postmoderne Geschichtsschreibung ist, weil es die Grenzen der Geschichte bei der Darstellung der Wirklichkeit betont.
L'objectif de ce livre est d' tudier les romans postmodernes et principalement ce que Linda Hutcheon appelle la "m tafiction historiographique". Le roman que j'aborde subvertit la repr sentation historique conventionnelle et probl matise l'histoire. A la fin de la premi re partie de mon livre, le lecteur sera en mesure de conna tre le contexte th orique auquel je vais me r f rer dans mon analyse de Waterland de Graham Swift. Alla fine della prima parte del mio libro, il lettore sar in grado di conoscere il background teorico a cui far riferimento nell'analisi di Waterland di Graham Swift.
