Toxocara canis experimental infection to laboratory animal was a good representing VLM syndrome in human.The researcher able to create molecular diagnostic equipment (kit) enable scientific laboratories works in government hospitals to detect and diagnose the early infection with T. canis parasite (larvae stage) in different paratenic tissues like sheep, poultry or cattle, local or imported meat or meat products from inside or outside Iraq. The kit consist from designed primer pairs for ITS-2 region, rrnL gene and tes-120 gene that detected T. canis adult and larvae stages are useful to provides a confirmed diagnosis with Toxocariasis in many suspected infected cases, and used routinely in government hospitals, standardization and quality control laboratories, and also in the trade ministry laboratories.

A investiga o foi efectuada no Departamento de Fitopatologia da Universidade Agr cola de Junagadh, em Junagadh, no estado de Gujarat, na ndia, onde foram testados diferentes produtos agroqu micos e bioagentes. Entre os fungicidas sist micos, o hexaconazol foi considerado o fungicida mais eficaz e inibiu (99,6%) o crescimento micelial in vitro. Entre os fungicidas n o sist micos, o mancozebe (83,5 %) e o oxicloreto de cobre (78,5 %) foram bastante eficazes. Entre os herbicidas, a pendimetalina e entre os insecticidas, o profenofos foram os melhores in vitro. Os extractos aquosos de alho (60,0 %) e de curcuma (26,5 %) inibiram o crescimento micelial do fungo e os extractos de mehandi tamb m foram promissores. A produ o de bolbos aumentou em parcelas protegidas com Hexaconazole (0,005 %) em rela o a parcelas n o protegidas foi de 3,80 Kg/parcela (94,06 por cento de aumento). O Hexaconazole (0,005 %) provou ser o melhor no controlo da doen a in vivo, resultando numa maior produ o de bolbos. T. viride-I (20x108 cfu/gm) foi considerado o mais eficaz in vivo, resultando numa maior produ o de bolbos. Durante o estudo de campo, observou-se um m ximo de doen a (17 a 70 %) em Mahuva taluka do distrito de Bhavanagar e um m nimo de doen a (15 a 27 %) em Una taluka do distrito de Junagadh.

Hexaconazol (0,005 %) erwies sich als das beste Mittel zur Bek mpfung der Krankheit in vivo, was zu einem h heren Zwiebelertrag f hrte. T. viride-I (20x108 cfu/gm) erwies sich in vivo als am wirksamsten und f hrte zu h heren Zwiebelertr gen. Chloroplast is the organelle where the life-giving process photosynthesis takes place; it is the site where plants and algae produce food and oxygen that sustain our life. The story of how it originates from proplastids, and how it ultimately dies is beautifully portrayed by three authorities in the field: Basanti Biswal, Udaya Biswal and M. K. Raval. I consider it a great privilege and honor to have been asked to write this foreword. The book ' Chloroplast biogenesis: from proplastid to gerontoplast' goes much beyond photosynthesis.
