In this hardbound second installment of the Lunar Trilogy (Tom Swift and the Space Battering Ram was part 1) an environmental disaster hits California at the same time the lunar colony-now free of the tyranny of the Masters-is facing a crisis of their own, and it seems a single solution needs to be found for both. At the same time, Harlan Ames ventures to Tibet in search of answers about the Empress and where she might have crashed her evacuation spacecraft. What he finds will turn his world on end and nearly ruin the now-free colony on the Moon. With his own troubles, Tom must find a way to mine water from a passing comet and bring it to the Moon and down to the Earth safely and quickly before people start to die. Tom Salvatori - A Lifetime in Music
Tom Salvatori: A Lifetime in Music - Sheet Music Collection - Solo Guitar. Tom Salvatori (b.1958) has been quietly composing original instrumentals for the nylon string guitar in his own self-constructed corner of the music world for over fifty years. All told, Salvatori has composed, produced, and recorded 150+ guitar pieces, which have achieved over forty million streams and downloads across the digital service platforms to date. "Tom Salvatori: A Lifetime in Music" (2023), is Salvatori's 3rd Published Sheet Music Book, available directly from Salvatori Productions, Inc. (salvatoriproductions.com). It is a 51-page career retrospective collection that features nineteen previously unpublished solo nylon string guitar pieces composed by Salvatori between 1995 and 2023. The Sheet Music Book also introduces 'Patate Piccole' (Small Potatoes), a short story told in parable form that reflects on Salvatori's upcoming retirement as he looks forward to the pleasant experience of sharing his guitar compositions with the next generation of guitarists. Salvatori received a press review early in his composing career that described his work as being "...of the small potato variety." Instead of feeling slighted, he embraced the style description and adopted it as a new nickname. It is likely that that comment stuck in his craw as unfinished business because decades later, 'Patate Piccole' came pouring out of him...in just a couple hours In addition, "Tom Salvatori: A Lifetime in Music" features an accompanying CD, blog posts, press reviews and a brief scrapbook-styled Autobiography (including pictures) that summarize Salvatori's lifetime in music and his unique composing perspective for the nylon string guitar. "Tom Salvatori: A Lifetime in Music" (2023) (c) Salvatori Productions, Inc. - 51 Pages - ISBN 978-1-312-72436-5 - Printed in the U.S.A. Two previously released Tom Salvatori Sheet Music Books are available from world-renowned classical guitar publisher Les Productions d'Oz (productionsdoz.com) in Canada. They are: - "Tom Salvatori: Late Night" (2004) is a collection of Sheet Music drawn from 1995-2001. It features eleven Salvatori guitar solos along with an accompanying CD. - "Tom Salvatori: A Year in the Life" (2022) is Sheet Music drawn from Salvatori's celebrated 2013 album release of the same name. It features all thirteen guitar solos from the album.

Tom Blake changed the face of surfing and has long been lauded as one of the true pioneers and innovators in the sport. Although much has been written about him and his contributions (culminating in Gary Lynch's magisterial biography of him, Tom Blake: The Uncommon Journey of a Pioneer Waterman, published in 2001), very little work has been done on Tom Blake's Einsteinian philosophy. This is a shame, since though Blake was not formally educated (he never graduated high school due to the devastating influenza epidemic that swept the world in 1918 and 1919), he was an astute observer of nature and had a deep understanding of science and its implications on such perennial questions concerning ethics, God, and the goal of human life. The essence of Tom Blake's philosophical outlook is best captured in his book, Voice of the Atom, an engaging narrative that centers on his conversations with a young nomadic wanderer named Anthony. Yet, there are also other scattered writings, particularly letters that he wrote to friends over the years, that provide a wider glimpse into Blake's thinking that are invaluable.

Tom Sawyer Collection: All Four Books
'The Adventures of Tom Sawyer' remains a coming of age classic that needs no introduction and its first sequel 'Huckleberry Finn' has been called the greatest of great American novels. Less readers have heard of 'Tom Sawyer Abroad' and 'Tom Sawyer Detective' but both novellas are minor gems and recommended to fans of the franchise and Twain devotees. There's something here for everyone, from the young to the old, the lowbrow to the high. Four classics that represent the full range of that giant of American literature who still looms large over the reading culture.

Every four or five years Britain's most prominent dramatist pulls out all the stops and writes a major stage play of his own. Between plays, Stoppard the craftsman does translations, screenplays, light entertainments, and work for hire. Delaney's book is the first to focus on the major plays. Spanning Stoppard's career from Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead (1967) to Hapgood (1988), this study shows the figure which Stoppard from the first has been weaving in his theatrical tapestry. That there is development in Stoppard is clear but - as Delaney demonstrates - the development is from moral affirmation to moral application, from the assertion of moral principles to the enactment of moral practice. Such development from precept to praxis demonstrates organic growth rather than radical metamorphosis. Using Stoppard's words in a number of little-known interviews as a starting-point, Delaney shows how the major plays bear out Stoppard's contention that he 'tries to be consistent about morality'. The volume contains the most extensive bibliography and discography of Stoppard interviews (over 200 including print and broadcast sources) ever compiled.
