Peron and Peronism

Peron and Peronism

Peron and Peronism, is unique, especially among English language books, insofar as it is not so much a biography of the remarkable Argentine president, but an explanation of Peronism in theory and practice. While the lives of Juan, and especially Eva, Peron are relatively easy to access, seldom is it that a biography of the Perons, or even a scholarly history of Argentina, details the doctrine of Justicialism. In Peron and Peronism, Bolton draws on primary documents and speeches to define the Peronist doctrine that has moved the hearts and minds of the majority of Argentines for generations. Peron is shown to have been not only a great leader, who built the foundations of modern Argentina, but a philosopher who drew upon various philosophical schools, from Classical Greece onwards in synthesising a 'third position' that transcends capitalism and communism, Right and Left, and exposes 'demoliberalism' as a fraud. Here we also see a man of vision, an exponent of geopolitical blocs to counter globalist hegemony, whose ideals remain profoundly relevant in the age of globalisation."

This third anthology from Kerry White includes a cheeky tribute to Clive James - 'stars are in your sights'; a 'eulogy' for a country pub; a tribute to those who faced 'Ruin undismayed'; those 'like sheep' in the ongoing US shootout; and those doing evil things in the name of a god.Kerry White lives on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. He has previously published two anthologies, 'the poet from hell' and 'Strength, labour and sorrow', as well as 'Three of a kind', covering aspects of military aviation history. In 2007 in 'semi-retirement' he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Southern Queensland and this year (2016) is studying for a Masters in Professional Practice (Creative Writing) at University of the Sunshine Coast. He served in the Vietnam War with 5 Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment as a 'reinforcement' in 1966-67. He subsequently worked as a journalist and in government and corporate communications. He has two sons, five grandchildren and partner Caroline - all inspiring.
Dominoes and Marbles: A young man's life and times in peace and war
In the 1960s the Domino Theory, fear of communist expansion through Asia, is used to justify going to war in Vietnam; to boost Army numbers, Australia introduces National Service for young men selected by a ballot using marbles representing birth dates ... one of those selected was Kerry White . His story begins with his time in Vietnam, then recalling his life before call-up and on being back home after discharge ... as the war goes on, the headlines confront him every day and night ... This memoir is based on memory, reflection and imagination.

WINNER: 5 Stars, Reader's Favourite and NOMINEE: Global Ebook Awards 2017The Prophet Lailoken sighed. This would be his last vision to share. The last words he would speak. The vice like grip tightened around his heart. Wait a little longer, they must know; remember and prepare. On the world of Cerahya, nature's harmonious balances and checks have been disturbed; interfered with. She rails against such abhorrent intrusions and struggles to regain order. Unfortunately re-establishing control unleashes deadly, calamitous events on the island continent of Sofala, catching the inhabitants of the western kingdom unaware. The High King, Gareth Beaumont calls for assistance from the Ashmourne Academy of Magic. They respond by sending their infamous 'Pace Alastriona Knights', led by Commander Atesh and Captain Ballard. Their first battalion of magic-enhanced, ale-swilling, knuckle-busting, gag-pulling, sword-dancing, fierce warrior misfits join forces with the King's personal regiment. Together with mystical allies, they race to reduce the fallout to life, love and liberty upon their homeland. As they search for the source behind the malevolent machinations at work, they uncover truths so repugnant, it will send them reeling. Will interpreting the strange riddles and finding the ancient prophecy hold the key to the game of life; playing out before their eyes?
