The past is her future, the future, her past, but can she save an innocent man's life before history repeats itself? As long as Selena Tillman dreams of her ancestor, Mary, who disappeared without a trace in 1871, she'll never find peace. As long as she dreams of the half-Native American army scout accused of killing Mary, she'll never find love. Hoping to end the dreams and learn the truth, Selena goes to Texas where Mary and the scout died and sees more than ghosts. She sees a tornado kill Mary in real time before it jumps to the twenty-first century to pull Selena into its vortex and send her back to the nineteenth century. Selena believes she's fated to prove Dylan's innocence and save his life, but Dylan isn't just the man of her dreams; he's her destiny. Fed up with the army, bigotry, and women-especially white women, Captain Dylan Casey dedicates himself to solving the mystery of Mary's disappearance, proving his innocence, and trying to stop a war between the whites and the Indians. Then Mary's cousin shows up, claiming a tornado killed Mary. Dylan doesn't trust Selena, but she's his only ally in Canyon Creek. Yet despite their common goal, growing mutual attraction, and a Comanche shaman's prophecy of a white woman who will change his destiny and foretell the fate of the Indian Nation, Dylan refuses to take a chance on another spoiled, white woman-until fate changes his mind.

That is, unless you count Cassidy. It's a second chance: the one they both need.At first, Cassidy and Mac merely exist next to each other, but the attraction between them-the bond of their broken existence-pulls them together again and again. They aren't always the best people, but the jagged edges of their lives begin to heal each other, even as they strike out against it.★★★★★Holding on to Day is the rerelease of Alive Day, Lilly K. Cee's debut novel. It is a book about redemption, pain, and healing after everything falls apart. The book contains steamy scenes; and, as with real life, includes some trigger warnings: PTSD, depression, loss of loved ones, violence, and a miscarriage. It also includes a happily ever after for two people who may be broken but are working hard to pick up the pieces.
Set in 19th-century England, "The Trumbles" is a historical romantic comedy about the eavesdropping adventures of a quirky family. The Trumbles have a habit of listening in on other people's conversations, which leads them to many misconceptions. When they accidentally overhear conversations not intended for them, it sets off a chain of comedic events and misunderstandings."The Trumbles" is a delightful blend of romance, comedy, and historical fiction, with a colorful cast of characters and plenty of surprises along the way.Lilly began writing this book as part of National Novel-Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), and she enjoyed the process so much that she kept on going until she had a story that made sense and characters she loved. Jane Austen's life was cut too short, and in the spirit of her novels the idea for "The Trumbles" was born. Lilly even had the privilege of traveling to England several times to see the places Ms. Austen was born, spent her time, and died; on one of those trips to Bath, England, Lilly saw a tragically stooping man who inspired the character of Mr. Grey, and a ridiculously chatty woman whom Lilly was trapped riding in a van with for hours, who inspired the character of Mrs. Trumble (particularly in her hatred of riding in carriages). In homage to her two favorite authors, the hero of the story was named Charles Austen. The inspiration for most of the characters Lilly drew from real life, giving them silly names from people she has known. The inspiration for Camden came from the street of the same name in Bath.
All I ever wanted is happening this weekend. Or at least it might happen. If I don't screw it up. A lot can go wrong when you are sneaking around a Las Vegas hotel between a poker tournament and a romance writer's convention. And secretly attending both. More can go wrong when the one man you ever really wanted is there too, and he's watching. He's like a spy on a mission, always trying to keep me out of trouble. He saved me once from drowning. He's my brother's best friend and I've wanted him since I was old enough to know what that means. But for him I've been off limits, the stakes were too high. How could I resist making him the hero of my book? How will he react when he finds out? Warning: This book contains awkward situations, fan-girling, laughter, heat, and love
Work has been the focus of Helen Mathews' life for the last seven years.
