Der Herausforderung, die Komplexität des kolumbianischen Konfliktes zu a- lysieren und zu beschreiben, haben wir uns als Autorenteam gemeinsam gestellt. Dafür gab es gute Gründe: Zum einen konzentriert sich sozialwissenschaftliche Analyse jeweils auf bestimmte Aspekte der beobachtbaren Wirklichkeit und so trug es zur besseren Einsicht bei, dass unterschiedliche Blickwinkel geöffnet und unterschiedliche Sehweisen eingebracht wurden. Zum anderen brachten wir dabei verschiedene Kenntnisse und Erfahrungen mit, die in die Analyse einfl- sen. Im Verlauf der Entstehung dieses Buches haben wir die großen Vorteile dieses Vorgehens kennen gelernt und erfahren, wie unsere gemeinsame Analyse des Konfliktes in Kolumbien davon profitierte. Dass die Kommunikation zwischen den in alle Welt verstreuten Autoren dabei nicht immer einfach war, stellte eine große Herausforderung dar. Auch angesichts globalisierter Kommunikation will ein Autorenteam zusammengeh- ten werden. So sind wir dankbar, dass Anna Daun hierin und in die Erfassung, Überarbeitung und Fertigstellung des Manuskripts viel Zeit investierte.
