Montaignes 'Apologie de Raimond Sebond' - eine Verteidigungsschrift?
Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2009 im Fachbereich Romanistik - Franz sisch - Literatur, Note: 2, Universit t Stuttgart, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Apologie de Raimond Sebond bildet das zw lfte Kapitel des zweiten Buches der Essais von Michel de Montaigne. Dieses Kapitel ist das l ngste und zugleich bedeutendste Kapitel der Essais. Es befindet sich exakt in der Mitte der drei B nde der Essais, was auf seine au erordentliche Stellung hinweist. Die Apologie de Raimond Sebond steht in direkten Bezug zur Theologia naturalis des katalanischen Theologen Raimond Sebond, die Montaigne 1569 bersetzt hat. Montaigne schreibt in den Jahren 1573-1580 die Verteidigungsrede f r Sebond, bei der er auf zwei Kritikpunkte an der Theologia naturalis eingeht. Im ersten Schritt meiner Arbeit wird der Begriff der Apologie erkl rt und dargestellt welche Bedeutung der Apologie in den Essais Montaignes zukommt. Der zweite Schritt soll Montaignes Verteidigung f r Raimond Sebond beschreiben, wobei in diesem Schritt auf die zwei Kritikpunkte an der Theologia naturalis eingegangen wird. Daf r wird es in einem dritten Schritt wichtig sein, die Menschenbilder Montaignes und Sebonds in Bezug zu Gott genauer zu betrachten und auf Unterschiede und Gemeinsamkeiten zu untersuchen. Die Erkenntnisse dieser ersten drei Schritte f hren abschlie end zu der Frage, ob Montaignes Apologie wirklich einer Verteidigungsschrift f r Sebond nachkommt und inwiefern er auf die beiden Kritikpunkte eingeht. Im Rahmen dieser Arbeit und der Untersuchung des Menschenbildes von Montaigne, wird ebenso auf dessen Ansichten zu Gott, Glaube und Wissenschaft eingegangen, um die in dieser Hausarbeit gestellte Fragestellung zu beantworten.
