Martin Luthers Dekalogpredigten sind lateinisch 1518 erschienen. Es ist das erste grossere Werk Luthers, in dem seine reformatorischen Grundgedanken und Kennzeichen seines Stil erkennbar werden. Den Stil kennzeichnen zahlreiche Bezuge zum sozial- und kulturgeschichtlichen Kontext der Zeit. Die Dekalogpredigten wurden 1520 von Sebastian Munster (1488-1552) ins Deutsche ubersetzt, der den Zeitgenossen als Hebraist und Kosmograph bekannt war. Dieser Band dokumentiert und erlautert mit einem umfangreichen Apparat diese Ubersetzung. So fur viele verstandlich, erreichten die Predigten erst in dieser Ubersetzung ein Publikum ausserhalb des Klerus.

Mit dem Wohltemperirten Clavier schuf Bach ein Lehrwerk zur Temperatur, das weder mitteltoenig noch gleichstufig ist, denn der Titel Das Wohltemperirte Clavier zeigt, dass die Stimmung die Grundlage zum echten Verstandnis ist. Der Verfasser entschlusselt Bachs Methode der Ratselnotation und dessen Devisen: Reinheit der Harmonien sowie eine Unterscheidbarkeit aller 24 Tonartencharaktere. Neben einer reinen Quinte verengt Bach die elf ubrigen um 2,1,3 Cent laut den oberen Schnoerkeln, die Bach auf das 24. Fugenthema bezieht. Der untere Schnoerkel erklart die Stimmwege, der Titeltext die Stimmtonhoehe, das Petschafft entziffert die genauen Unterschiede zur mechanistischen Gleichstufigkeit. Die neue Satzfolge beider Bande entsteht gemass den Knospen des Brief-Siegels mittels Transpositionen um drei Halbtonschritte abwarts (1) oder vier Quinten aufwarts (2); Bach bestatigt mehrfach durch allerlei Hilfszahlen in typischen Takt- und drei Titeltextwerten diese Ordnung. So entsteht entgegen der "Originalnotation" mit ihren tonal doppelboedigen Gangen auch der gemeinte Zyklus.

It begins with the 1700s, and continues to the present day. We have made every effort to have accurate information. If you find errors or would like to have information added to the book please contact the Authors with the information provided in this collection.Sebastian Hoover (Johann Sebastian Huber) and Catherine Mueller/Miller (Catarina Elisabetha Mueller) married in Tulpenhocken Pennsylvania in 1744 (as recorded in Rev. John Caspar Stoever's Church Records). Sometime after that date (and by 1746 when their second son, Peter, was born in Pendleton Co., VA) they migrated to and raised their family on the South Fork of the Potomac in Virginia. Sebastian's birth year of 1723 is presumed from Rev. Stoever's records of Sebastian's age at the time of his marriage. Obtaining research evidence and DNA test results by Huber/Hoover family historians and participants, there have been breakthroughs in DNA projects proving Sebastian's descendants.
