In the spring of 1939 as war clouds appear on the horizon, a young British Vicar on summer assignment to a church in a small town on the Connecticut shore introduces handsome Jewish, anti-war, recent Yale graduate Peter Stone who owns his own seaplane to stunning blonde, Protestant, co-ed Suzanne Taylor in a park across from his church.
