From #1 New York Times bestselling author Kristin Hannah comes a stylish boxed set featuring paperback editions of three unforgettable novels: Summer Island, Distant Shores, and Angel Falls. The three novels in this luminous collection showcase Kristin Hannah's trademark gift for crafting evocative stories that examine the secrets of our past and the complexity of our lives to find the strength to change and the courage to forgive: Summer Island Ruby is offered a fortune to write a tell-all about her famous mother, Nora, who had walked out on her marriage and left her daughters behind. But when they reunite, Ruby comes to find that Nora isn't the woman she's hated all these years. Distant Shores Soon after Jack and Elizabeth's daughters leave home, the couple begins to drift apart. When Jack accepts a new job, Elizabeth follows him across the country to try and keep their marriage together--until tragedy turns her world upside down. Angel Falls When Mikaela falls into a coma, her husband, Liam, must keep their family together as he stays by her side daily, hoping for her to wake up. Then he learns of his wife's secret past--a hidden first marriage--and knows he must reach out to her first husband for help . . . and answers.
PLAYING HANNAH is the story of two young stage actresses and a wayward writer they fall in with, and takes them on a journey from bucolic New England to the misty Louisiana bayous, from the sands of the Syrian Desert to Monterey Bay, and from the highs of applause into the lows of lonely darkness. "...Hannah's theater was a magnifying glass, a microscope, a telescope and her standard, through which she inspected and dissected and rejected, and against which she gauged all that she was learning of her world. Katie's theater was a mirror-handheld, full-length and ceiling-mounted-used for the inspection of herself. The stage was their passion." In this novel strong with female leads, Hannah and Katie meet a cast of dynamic characters in their travels-an entertaining blend of tragic and comic masks who appeal to the actor in us all, coaxing the reader onto the boards and under the proscenium arches, where night after night the shows are different, and where every performer works without a net. The more Hannah's on stage, however, the further she is drawn into a fictional world where she's discovered she can evade the playing of herself by hiding in a r sum of other characters. Then Lincoln Dollar writes the play Hannah uses to drive into a successful tour, but when her make-believe world finally collapses she is forced to construct another which is real. "PLAYING HANNAH is funny, clever, verve-y - so attractive." Marc Estrin, Fomite Press.

An adorable little red hen named Hannah desperately wants to be human and can't resist when the farmer's wife discards an old hat.
Little Hannah is a story about a little orphan girl looking for who she is and where she belongs. She experiences some emotional ups and downs, but doesn't give up. Her quest finally leads her to a loving family, a king who adopts her and a new identity as a daughter of the king. Written as an allegory, this lovely story illustrates how we are all looking for who we are and where we belong. We may not have had the love of a mother and father, but God, our heavenly Father, wants us to know he sees us and wants a relationship with us. In fact, he wrote many things about us in the Bible. The book closes with bible verses about how our heavenly Father loves us unconditionally, adopts us into His family, gives us a new identity, gives us keys to His kingdom and encourages us to follow our dreams.
