In Indien sind die wichtigsten Walnussanbaugebiete Jammu und Kaschmir, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh und Arunachal Pradesh, wobei J&K den gr ten Anteil an der Gesamtfl che und der Produktion einnimmt. Aber im Gro en und Ganzen hat die Walnuss im Vergleich zu anderen Obstkulturen nach wie vor nur geringe Priorit t.
