Synopsis The book is about a fictional character Eddy-M who is a rogue government agent of the South African government, who is sent to Mozambique to try an uncover plans by foreign governments to destabilise the SADC region and using Mozambique as their base. Upon arriving in Mozambique he got captured by the rebels in the mountains of Gorongosa only to realise he was in fact sold by South Africans. Taken to the rebels' base in upper Mozambique with governments not knowing where he actually is. In captivity he befriended Susann a rebel soldier who was taking care of him, and during the course of his captivity he indoctrinated her with two of her fellow soldiers Tito and Romano, and they planned an escape, which succeed though Romano was sacrificed in the process as he was one person they could not trust, given his love for Susann. The trio reunited in Maputo and Eddy-M was attracted to Maria the daughter of the Minister of intelligence, whilst on the other hand Lerato the daughter to SA's commissioner to Mozambique had her eyes on Eddy-M and Susann has also developed feeling for the Casanova, only one won his heart.
