As the inaugural volume of the Brill Exegetical Commentary Series, this commentary provides a fresh reading of the Pastoral Epistles while interacting with recent developments in biblical studies and the auxiliary disciplines. A fresh translation of the Greek text is followed by text-critical, grammatical, historical, and theological analyses of the text. Instead of a commentary on the commentaries, this work grounds the reading of the Pastoral Epistles within their proper linguistic and socio-cultural contexts, thus allowing their distinct theological voices to emerge.
This book is pure fiction and a product of my own imagination. It is about the relationship between a small boy and his grandfather. I truly love my grandkids and I have five of them already. They are all aged between two years and eighteen years. I love telling stories even now and I always love to visualize them sitting on my lap and listening. There are lots of children who have never learnt to dream. This simple story book will make them dream of being with the animals. They will be temporarily removed from their social media. The language used is very simple and the parents can just read the stories to the children and I am sure they will enjoy.About the Author: The Author, J. Roberts is an engineer by profession. He was in business until he was 71 years. After being in business for more than four decades, He retired from active business due to covid19. After retirement he couldn't be idle and couldn't get back to business due to some health issues. So, he started writing story books for children. He was always fond of telling bible stories to his own grandchildren. He started writing stories in very simple English so that children could understand every Word they read. His idea was that every child who could read a little English should be able to read his stories and enjoy them thoroughly. He also disliked the idea of children and adults glued to cell phones and addicted to the various games the media offered. He wanted to give them an alternative. Hence, this story book and many more to come
