There are situations in life in which one feels trapped, but when you are trapped in a body to which you feel no connection, a body you feel doesn't belong to you, there is no escape. That's gender dysphoria.Forty years ago, there were no role models for Dawn, who, in early childhood, knew that something was really not right about her body. She had no idea what it was. Perhaps, her family also sensed something about this as well because they treated her like an outsider, and she suffered unthinkable abuse because of it. She had no name for what she was feeling and no one to turn to. If her teenaged suicide plan had been realized, or had she not had the compassion of a few key people along the way, there would be no triumph to be shared in this book.Real and raw, She, He, Me is a story of questioning, silent suffering and the courage it takes to forge one's way, unsupported, through the emotional maze of gender confusion, sexuality, identity and society's labels in order to live an authentic life. Dawn's transition from one lonely, lost and yet amazingly strong human being to becoming Dayne is a wonder. What makes She, He, Me so different from other transgender stories is that, today, Dayne Bachmann is a licensed therapist who uses his personal experience and professional career to help and support clients on their quest from questioning to becoming their authentic selves.Dayne Bachmann's book offers relief to those who are questioning their gender and sexual orientation, allowing them to embark on a journey of finding honesty, hope, understanding and guidance in the complexities and challenges those in the LGBTQ+ population face. He also provides resources for individuals and families who are facing this challenge. For the rest of us, his personal experience and professional acumen help to bring us much needed awareness and compassion, while answering questions we are often afraid to ask.

America needs to repent for the kingdom of God is at hand. This is a bold statement when the United States is considered to be the most powerful nation on Earth. Should we repent individually or collectively? In Why America Needs to Repent, author Pastor Dwane Massenburg explores the subject of repentance in today's world, considering what repentance means and the pressing reasons why America should repent. He addresses a host of related questions: - How do we grapple with America being a predominately Christian nation in the twenty-first century? - Are Jesus' teachings still relevant? - Are Christians allowed to be different now? - Has God changed his mind about what it means to be a Christian? - How should we act as Christians today? Based upon the Bible, the word of God, Why America Needs to Repent communicates crucial messages about repentance and its relevance and importance in today's society. We need to repent because we work better together with God; understanding the love of God is the absolute best way to get us to do that. We need to repent because nothing else will work.

This workbook is designed to confront you with heartfelt questions to make you consider your relationship with God. Repentance is the first step to repairing and maintaining the relationship. This workbook along with the book, "Why America Needs to Repent", is designed to confront the reader with Biblical truths that cannot lay dormant. They must be addressed. It helps the reader in their personal conversation with God. Sin separates us from God the same way the misbehavior of a child may cause a temporary rift in a parent-child relationship. This is why we must repent daily. We must constantly desire a closer relationship with God and intentionally turn away from anything and everything that may get in the way. The life of Judas Iscariot gives us a good look at our humanity and where repentance could possibly play a role. In this workbook, you will have many conversations. What is the mark of a true Christian? The fruits of the Spirit are diverse, but they are the same. How does God hold us accountable when we misuse other people? What happens when sin is ignored? What sins are an abomination to God? What are some multi-dimensional manifestations of God? Is it really possible to give thanks to God during our toughest trials? Why do you think the story of the rich man that found himself in hell is included in the Bible? The most important question of all at the end of each chapter is, "After studying this chapter, what am I going to do differently?"

Chaplain G.A. Studdert Kennedy has been described as the most popular British chaplain of the First World War. Widely known as "Woodbine Willie" for the cigarettes he distributed to the troops, his wartime poetry and prose communicated the challenges, hardships and hopes of the soldiers he served. As a chaplain, he was subject to the same hardships as his soldiers. This book analyses his experiences through the contemporary understanding of psychological, moral and spiritual impact of war on its survivors and suggests that the chaplain suffered from Combat Stress, Moral Injury, and Spiritual Injury. Through the analysis of his wartime and postwar publications, the author illustrates the continuing impact of war on the life of a veteran of the Great War.

Writers of the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries—a period of vast economic change—recognized that the global trade in alcohol and tobacco promised a brighter financial future for England, even as overindulgence at home posed serious moral pitfalls. This engaging and original study explores how literary satirists represented these consumables—and related anxieties about the changing nature of Britishness—in their work. Riley traces the satirical treatment of wine, beer, ale, gin, pipe tobacco, and snuff from the beginning of Charles II’s reign, through the boom in tobacco’s popularity, to the end of the Gin Craze in libertine poems and plays, anonymous verse, ballad operas, and the satire of canonical writers such as Gay, Pope, and Swift. Focusing on social concerns about class, race, and gender, Consuming Anxieties examines how satirists championed Britain’s economic strength on the world stage while critiquing the effects of consumable luxuries on the British body and consciousness.

The sun was setting for the evening and the night was still young. A car pulled up to the gated community. The young lady driving was fierce and head strong. Afraid of little. Amazed by all the oversized homes, she carried on. "These people have way too much house," she thought. She pulled up to the keypad at the gate and punched in some numbers, she was in. She knew her mark and found his house immediately. Standing on his doorstep, she contemplated her next move. One shot through the front door and that should send the right message. This fight was not hers; it was for her friend Vlad. This was just a thought, so she contemplated on. She thought very carefully, but not for very long. She knew she needed to move and needed to do it fast. She entered the home through the basement window. She slid the glass open and dropped to the floor. The basement furniture was dirty as the years of kids playing had taken its toll. The pictures on the walls were that of an old western movie. Buffalo Bill and John Wayne to be exact. She looked on and took in the tired rustic style room. As painful as it was to look at, she decided she had enough, and it was time to find her mark.A man all up dressed in his matching pajama set. Blue silk, both top and bottom and buttoned clear to the neck. The very top button. He stood looking in the fridge as if he would wish something good to appear. As he looked on, slumped over the bottom shelf, she thought of slugging him in the back of his thighs and taking him down at that very moment.Of course, the timing was not right for this night, so she left, and he was spared to live another day. She went out the same way she came in and the man in the house knew no wiser. She was gone before he knew she was there. She was patient and may return.

Dwane Fritz Gerald has offered his readers a momentary peek into his journey of discovery and understanding of self and his relationship with a very personal God. A God who is for All while being the God for one contrasts with the contemporary narcissistic world-view, of selfie posing and social media commentating which highlights differences and fosters division. This stylised personal user manual addresses very weighty philosophical and spiritual matters in a practical and user-friendly manner without dumbing down any of its more profound and incisive contents. If you are seeking a book to hang your hat of religious dogma and bigotry, you will not find it here. Presented to the reader in these pages, you will find a God that is not bounded by any established religious beliefs or creed. One who can be related to by the religious or the irreligious. The dominant voice is the oneness of the human family, a shared fellowship with all of creation and its creator.

Majesty In His Service John's Gospel: Chapter 1 Volume 1a of 21

You, Oh God, my Creator, my Life, my Well-Being are the MAJESTY of my existence; and in no other way could You have fulfilled Your purpose in me/through me other than to make me in Your image, after Your likeness. I am the reflection made of You, Who is the Original.I AM an Original made from The Original. The Gospel according to John is quite different in character from the three synoptic gospels. It is highly literary and symbolic. It does not follow the same order or reproduce the same stories as the synoptic gospels. To a much greater degree, it is the product of a developed theological reflection and grows out of a different circle and tradition. It was probably written in the 90's of the first century. The Gospel of John begins with a magnificent prologue, which states many of the major themes and motifs of the gospel, much as an overture does for a musical work. The prologue proclaims Jesus as the preexistent and incarnate Word of GOD WHO has revealed the Father to us. After the account of the seven signs, the "HOUR" of Jesus arrives, and the author passes from sign to reality, as he moves into the discourses in the upper room that interpret the meaning of the passion, death, and resurrection narratives that follow. The whole gospel of John is a progressive revelation of the glory of God's only Son, WHO comes to reveal the Father and then returns in glory to the Father. The author's purpose is clearly expressed in what must have been the original conclusion of his gospel at the end of John, chapter 20: ..."Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His] disciples that are not written in this book. But these are written that you may come to] believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through this belief you may have life in His Name."
UNLOCKING REVELATION Chapter FOUR Volume 4 of 22: Portrait of The Christ
Any study in the book of Revelation must focus upon one key theme. The first five words of this book, "THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST", declares the THEME of this book in its entirety. The aim/objective/intention is to reveal HIM, JESUS, THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD...as it is as well with every other book in the Bible. When we make our focus about man, we are eschewed, or moved away from the place of our Beginnings. When we take our eyes, and attention away from JESUS, THE WORD/JESUS, THE LAMB/JESUS, THE SAVIOR/JESUS, THE LORD/JESUS, THE KING we make a complete detour around the very center of all that our life and living are about. We should take note that this is not a book called, Revelations, as being plural. It is in fact a book called, "REVELATION" as being singular. It is all about Him. There are actually Three REALMS of Revelation: (to reveal)1] Natural/Outer Court/External/Physical2] Artificial/Inward Court/Internal/Mental3] Eternal/Inner Court/Infinite/SpiritualThe dispensational understanding came into being, by those who had no infilling, nor liberty in the Holy Spirit. If, according to JOHN 14, 15, AND 16, THE WORD OF GOD, as well as GOD'S ETERNAL PLAN, cannot be interpreted properly unless given inspiration by THE HOLY SPIRIT, then it must be concluded that the current volume from which many ministries and believers draw assumptions GOD'S PLAN, are at best inaccurately depicting what it was that GOD was trying to share with THEIR CREATION. Most of what we call "Revelation Study" is AN OVERVIEW OF LAST DAYS EVENTS. Most of these events are the catastrophic exaggerations of hireling parrots, who only wish to sell books, or get a spot on T.V. THIS IS NOT WHAT REVELATION IS ABOUT. If this book is to be given the serious consideration deserved as being THE WORD OF GOD, all conclusions MUST have GOD'S CENTER AND FOCUS AND OUTCOME REVEALED IN THE PERSON OF JESUS, THE CHRIST, THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. Without such intent, any interpretation will nullify the TRUTH, as GOD pre determined its purpose to be. "Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure: ...". ISAIAH 46:8-10 The first five words of this book identify and explain everything within this volume; much of which has been otherwise, sensationalized through "parroted teaching" having no anointing, nor are such teachings being led of GOD'S SPIRIT How is it that so many take for granted that those authors to which they claim to receive understanding are neither filled with THE SPIRIT'S LEADING, nor do they have AN INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP WITH THE GOD OF ALL LIVING. How can this writer make such claims? Simple There is no eternal life evident in the fear mongering, last day event stupidities, and untold laziness toward never taking the time to mediate and listen to the voice of God's forever leading by the unconditional order of LOVE'S DOMAIN Whatever is of GOD ought to have one, or all of three points LIFELIGHTLOVEWhatever is of GOD. . .carries one or all three of these GOD TAUGHT POINTS

Dwane Fritz Gerald has offered his readers a momentary peek into his understanding of God and himself and how this understanding has impacted his relationship to an invisible God. His journey, fashioned on the heritage of a Christian upbringing but also his desire not to be bounded by any particular denominational constraints, has led him to three primary focal points - the persona of God, A love relationship with this God, and a loving fellowship with others. Dwane portrays a God who is for All while being the God for one. His focus on a loving relationship with all of God's creation contrasts with the contemporary narcissistic world-view, which highlights differences and fosters division. Although the contents are grounded in the teaching of the Bible, the God presented is not a "Christian God" but a God of Christians. Presented to the reader in these pages, you will find a God that is unbounded by time or any religious beliefs or creed. Instead, you will find a God who desires intimacy with each individual, whether they be religious or irreligious, Christian or Non-Christian.
