The death rate due to tumor has been increasing enormously over the past three decades. This fact increases the importance of research in the medical field, to identify brain pathologies for tumor segmentation and detection, which helps the neurosurgeon to diagnose brain disease and to set up most suitable treatment for the pathology. Normally, manual segmentation of brain image is a tedious and laborious task due to the processing of large amount of data and also due to the presence of minute brain lesions. Thus a completely automated segmentation system has become a real challenging in medical image processing, which has fascinated many researchers in this field, in recent years. The recommended system focus on all possible outcomes, that can be used to address the brain segmentation problems in multi modality MR images, which is widely used imaging technique for its high quality. More precisely, the classifier used in this recommended system is Support Vector Machine (SVM), which is the most prevalent classification method used recently, along with a combination of Wrapper based Genetic Algorithm.

Nigella sativa seeds have been used since long in a number of traditional medicine systems. Nigella sativa is used in Unani, Ayurveda, Siddha, Arabic and Chinese indigenous medical systems. The widespread use of Nigella sativa as a spice and as a traditional medicine has spurred modern researchers to study it's therapeutic properties. Many researchers have described the anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties of Nigella sativa seeds.There has also been considerable interest in the antioxidant and antidiabetic activity of Nigella sativa.In this work we have attempted to describe the free radical scavenging and anti-glycating properties of the ethanolic extract of Nigella sativa seeds. These two activities have been studied because protein glycation and free radical generation are both major mechanisms driving the pathological processes related to complications of diabetes mellitus. In effect this work looks at the ability of the ethanolic extract of Nigella sativa seeds to disrupt the biochemical processes that are responsible for the long term complications of diabetes mellitus.

Il s'agit d'une situation o les recherches fondamentales et appliqu es dans ce domaine contribuent des avanc es nanotechnologiques spectaculaires, mais sont tributaires aussi de telle avanc e, 1-3]. En effet, la mise en forme des mat riaux l' chelle nanom trique dans des dispositifs permettent actuellement la fabrication des chips lectroniques qui fonctionnent des fr quences tr s lev es d'environ 1.4 1011 Hertz, la taille d'un chip continuant de baisser et tant en 2008 quelque 45 nm, 4]. Dans une g om trie r duite les spectres vibrationnels d'excitations de phonons sont fortement modifi s, puisque certaines dimensions du syst me sont plus petites que le parcours libre moyen d'un phonon temp rature ambiante.
