What is a prophet? Growing up, I was told a prophet was someone from the Old Testament whom God spoke to directly. These prophets often had a message to the people of God from God Himself. I was told that when Jesus died for our sins and the veil was torn, God began speaking to all who have a relationship with Him. Because of this, there were no more prophets, because that would elevate one person over another. If God speaks to everyone directly, that makes everyone who follows Him a prophet; and when everyone's a prophet, no one is. God doesn't love any one person more than an-other, so He wouldn't speak more clearly to any one person than an-other. This made sense to me; of course it did. If this was what a prophet was-merely a mouthpiece-then how could God say He loves all of His children, but then choose the "best of the bunch" to be prophets while the others get murky messages at best and radio silence at worst?

In 2012, I faced one of the darkest periods of my life, nearly losing my wife to a series of regrettable choices. This collection of poetry is a raw exploration of that time-a journey through the pain and the fallout of decisions that altered the course of our lives. Through these verses, I delve into the depths of guilt, heartbreak, and the arduous path toward reconciliation. Each poem reflects the complex emotions of that period: the deep hurt of betrayal, the sting of selfishness, and the sobering reality of being chastised by my own conscience. This collection is not just a recounting of mistakes but a testament to the enduring strength of love, the struggle for redemption, and the profound impact of forgiveness

Kind of how others don't believe there was ever a story between Casey and I. Of course they don't. I wonder what makes it so hard to believe though. My name is Kevin, I'm here to give you a wake up call and show you what really happened behind the scenes.

In this global approach to climate change and freshwater access, Cameron Fioret explores the harmful effects of water commodification. Making use of deliberative democratic theory, Fioret suggests tools that can change the balance of democratic decision-making power by rethinking the governance of water more broadly.Five main case studies including Detroit, Cochabamba, and Kerala span four continents to convey the global and local scope of normative water issues. These examples draw on contemporary water justice movements to explore how anti-water-commodification struggles can utilize water recommoning practices to make water governance processes more deeply democratic. Highlighting the ethical and sociopolitical ramifications of water injustice, this study moves beyond the surface issue of distributional concerns. To this end, Fioret draws on research in democratic political theory and environmental philosophy to consider what right people have to water, the putative harms of privatizing and commodifying water, common ownership, and legal protections, alongside local and transnational political activism. In navigating these pressing issues, The Ethics of Water provides a searing analysis of water commodification and political domination today.
