Frederick is bachelor in his early 50's. As a proclaimed codependent he limits his personal contacts with women to sex-dating to avoid any kind of involvement that might lead to emotional dependency. He has distanced himself so far from his own emotions that he thinks of himself not as "I" but as "You". One day at the library he hears the voice of a woman telling a story of a mermaid and a dragon - of all things - with the repeated word Wonderful , which echoes in his mind. That evening he has scheduled a meeting with his newest sex date at a restaurant. She never shows up, but Frederick is served a dish that evokes in him the taste and feeling of wonderful Under the subliminal spell of wonderful he seeks to find this elusive experience through the art of cooking and the thrills of impersonal sex. It finds him in the persons of his one friend Matt, a poet, and Matt's friend Sonya, a story teller, who is also a superb cook. Through the subtle manipulations of these two creative spirits Frederick's defenses against personal involvement are breaking down, his privacy is invaded, and his life is turned into a comedy of errors.

Cooking Disasters is not a normal cookbook. Yes, there are disasters and there are also recipes. None of the disasters take place in the kitchen. I've had very unique things happen to me as I've traveled the world. I should be dead. Instead, I survived and have a collection of miracles and recipes to share. This is a good read, with some of my photographs gathered along the way as well. Even if you don't cook, this is a good cookbook. And, if you do cook, this has some treasures from around the world.
Back in 2016, a pair of weirdos-writer and graphic designer Jenny Ashford, and Army veteran and former cook Tom Ross-decided to start a silly podcast-slash-YouTube-show called 13 O'Clock about poltergeists, true crime, and creepy historical mysteries. All well and good, but as the show progressed and mutated, the weirdos noticed that they kept going off on lots (and LOTS) of tangents, and many of those tangents were food-related. "So why don't you guys write a cookbook?" some listeners asked. And the weirdos replied, "Why the hell not?" You now hold the results of this completely random series of events in your meaty little hands. Mmm, meat. Featuring everything from artery-clogging Southern staples to delicious Chinese, Korean, and Indian favorites; from luscious desserts to fun, boozy cocktails, Cookin' Time is an idiosyncratic journey through Tom and Jenny's cooking and eating lifestyle, with entertaining digressions about the dishes, courtesy of Tom's unique sensibilities (let's phrase it like that). So crack open this legendary tome and get ready to cook some stuff up with 13 O'Clock.

This book is a collections of gluten-free recipes from the 2013 year. Originally I was going to make a year's worth of recipes and the following year I would post them to an internet blog. Half way through the year I didn't like that idea anymore, I wanted to go right to the book. I came up with the idea of a 'book blog' which is more or less the same thing as a blog, just in book form rather than on the internet. A glorified Christmas Letter if you will, with recipes to accompany it. I did in the end, try to include as many different types of recipes as I could, with a good mix of breakfasts, lunches, dinners and deserts.
A whole months worth of recipes complete with shopping lists. It's an answer to your prayers and the question "What's for Dinner?"
This food recipe book is unique and exclusively for people who belong to the "AB Diabetic" blood group. Remember that the best way to respect and adapt to your new food culture that will keep you in your size, healthy, full of vitality and that you begin to feel every day that your skin is filled with collagen again and your cells rejuvenate, is NOT to put NO FOOD that is outside your blood group in the supermarket car. The best recommendation that I can give you is that you use your imagination to be able to carry out the final presentation of the food dishes to be developed, according to the ingredients that I indicate in each preparation. The best way is, open the fridge, the pantry, or any other place where you keep the food and spices, and then tell yourself ... What do I want to prepare? ... And if you choose meat, then use your imagination of how you want to see the final dish in reality when I finish it. Once this is done then begin to choose all the ingredients of the dish as you saw it in your imagination and carry out the food project to reality and you will see how without realizing it in a short time your own creativity and imagination will lead you to become in the favorite chef of your loved ones.
