What in the world is going on in these uncertain times? I would suggest it is all part of a bigger plan, for sure. However, whose plan it may actually be; is another question altogether. Anyways, as for my own personal life; it has not been much of "a mystery" but rather, just a part of "my-story." I have never really been too comfy with society's accepted facades of reality and the ideas of you as an individual having to be anything other than, "being your Self." We have been born into this physical world with "Spirit, a living Soul and an ever-dying body." These human aspects have inevitably transformed themselves as "Faith, Belief and Religion" and have also manifested in the form of many sciences. It always seems relative to our personal "Perceptive Truth versus "The Truth." I myself have always been fascinated by "the Science and Religion Connection" and how they are sometimes so closely related but, still worlds apart. I'm not overly absorbed into "the Conspiracy Theory" type thinking however, there are some very valid points made, at times. Unfortunately our modern society has been greatly conditioned by all kinds of "Political trickery, Mis-education and misguided Religious Be-lie-f" systems. One has to seriously ask oneself, about this world's leadership. "Is this their plan or is there even a plan?" It appears as if, there has surely been a deliberate "formation of an "Idiot'cracy" Culture through media." So, we must consider "what has and still is, presently being lost?" Academic Paper from the year 2015 in the subject Pedagogy - The Teacher, Educational Leadership, grade: very good, University of Ibadan, language: English, abstract: Teachers are professionals who develop and nurture young individuals into responsible and productive citizens. As such, the teaching profession is a noble profession which is expected to be respected by all and sundry in the society. However, this is no more so in Nigeria. In order to discover the cause, this research emanated. Since it is agreed that literature is the reflection of the society, this researcher chose to investigate how various Yoruba film writers do depict the Nigerian teacher and teaching profession in their films. Two Yoruba comic films were selected for this study and the sociology of literature was used as the theoretical framework. Various lackadaisical attitudes and corrupt practices of some culprits of the teaching profession were exposed through the analysis of the selected films. Though, the films show these comically and at times misrepresent who a teacher is, those culprits obviously have caused much havocs to the teaching profession. The films were therefore seen as satires calling for the re-orientation of teachers' integrity. If Nigerian teachers would be maximally efficient, this paper recommended re-orientating teachers' commitment and integrity, proper monitoring and supervision, encouraging incentives for teachers among others.
