Doubletree is a dick. He's a P.I.'s P.I. He's not a regular gumshoe, he's smarter than that. He knows his way around the city and around dames, and he won't be a sap for any gal.Dexter Doubletree has a few cases in the works, he's trying to tie up loose ends; and the dames, well some of them have information he needs and he's going to get it. Some of them have something else he needs, and he'll get that too. He'd just come back from Thailand, and had a Brass Monkey to show for it. It cost him some bullets but he didn't mind buying bullets, he didn't want them to go stale.Anyway, follow Doubletree as he shows you the in's and out's of being a dick, the way only Doubletree can do.Note: Adult language and situations.

Growing up in the late 19th century, Laura Wheeler Waring didn't see any artists who looked like her. She didn't see any paintings of people who looked like her, either. As a young woman studying art in Paris, she found inspiration in the works of Matisse and Gaugin to paint the people she knew best. Back in Philadelphia, the Harmon Foundation commissioned her to paint portraits of accomplished African-Americans. Her portraits still hang in Washington DC's National Portrait Gallery, where children of all skin tones can admire the beautiful shades of brown she captured.
