My Journey with Moses, Jesus the Christ, Muhammad, and other Prophets and Messengers
In this book, which is Number 5 in the series of interviews, Dr. Eid tells us about his dreams and visions with the prophets and messengers concerning harmony amongst religions. He speaks of how he was raised in a Muslim family and then Jesus awakened him and told him he was to be one of his chosen disciples. He also talks about his dream encounters with Moses who asked him to assist in making peace between the Arabs and the sons of Israel. You will read about how Dr. Eid made two dangerous trips to Israel and how he crossed the border without being seen in spite of the hundreds of soldiers and other intelligence officers who were patrolling the border. The author speaks of the oneness of God, the oneness of humanity, and the oneness of the holy books - the Torah, the Gospels, and the Qur'an. He depends not only on his dreams and visions for these conclusions, but upon his research in science and all the holy scriptures. He was a professor teaching business, religion, medicine, and other aspects of science. Dr. Eid has a degree in military science and was an officer in the Syrian army before he studied medicine. Dr. Ahmad Eid is a medical doctor who ran clinics in Syria and Lebanon for more than thirty years. He is now living in America where he has established the "International Movement for World Peace". Through this non-profit organization he serves as guest lecturer in universities, colleges, churches, synagogues, mosques, and other temples and centers. His lectures present an interest in many aspects of peace, for example, "How to Make Peace With yourself" (body, soul, and spirit) by choosing the correct nutrition which prevents cancer, diabetes, ulcers, and other difficult diseases and keep your body healthy. You may find this information in his Book Number 7 interviewed by Dr. Joy Miller and entitled "My Journey With the Correct Nutrition: Eliminate Serious Diseases Forever". Additional subjects include: How to make peace with your husband or wife

This book discusses the Lord’s Resistance Army’s (LRA) use of Old Testament texts and motifs in their rhetoric to mobilise and sustain the rebellion in Northern Uganda, specifically in Gulu district, the area that has been particularly affected by the LRA’s actions throughout more than two decades. This book also delves into the much-ignored religious dimension of studies on the LRA, which forms the core of the LRA's ideology. The LRA uses biblical motifs to legitimize its ideology and practice and this is the first study which goes into a detailed empirical and hermeneutical analysis of the same. More importantly, this book proposes an ethical gender-sensitive model for reading and interpreting the Bible. The book can be used by students of political science, anthropology, religious studies, contemporary religions and new religious movements as well as by biblicists, theologians and general readers whose interests lie in understanding how issues have evolved.
