Research Methodology is meant to provide a broad guideline to facilitate and steer the whole of a research activity in any discipline. With the ambit and amount of research increasing by the day, the need for Research Methodology is being widely appreciated. Against this backdrop, we notice the dearth of well-written books on the subject. A Guide to Research Methodology attempts a balance between the generic approach to research in any domain and the wide array of research methods which are to be used in carrying out different tasks in any research. Discussions on these research methods appropriate in various disciplines have focused on the research tasks, keeping in mind the fact that a single such task like a comparison among alternatives may involve several methods from seemingly distinct areas.Unique features of this volume, as will be evident to a discerning reader, include: A detailed discussion on problem areas for research in several domains An illustrative and ampliated list of research problems drawn from different disciplines which can be pursued by interested research workers A comprehensive delineation of Research Design supported by illustrations An elaborate engagement with models with a note on model uncertainty Focus on recent and emerging models, methods and techniques A novel treatment of data analysis where the nature of data and the objective(s) of analysis justify drawing upon a variety of techniques for analysisThis book will serve the purpose of a pre-PhD or a Master-level course-work for students of any discipline with a basic knowledge of quantitative analysis. In fact, anyone aspiring to take up meaningful research work will find the content useful and interesting.

This book provides a linear history beginning at the time of the East India Company's arrival, with its near 250 year struggle to the formation of the British Raj, and the withdrawal of the Raj in the 90 years following, highlighting how the EIC rode to power and its administration replaced the Mughal's system, while describing how the Indian intellectual middle class developed. This work then describes how the Indian National Congress was established as a platform for nationalism and opposed British ambitions. This work emphasizes the events of about the last fifty years of the Raj which survived with domestic pressure and two great wars. It is a complicated political history of conflicts between nationalists and Imperialists surrounding communal agendas of the Muslim League, and interprets how two great wars consumed the resources of Britain as well as caused the decline of the Indian economy, and how the British trajectory tended to swing towards its withdrawal. The last chapter describes how Lord Mountbatten endeavored to effectuate the transfer of power which was constrained due to communal passion.
An A B C of Linguistics is about linguistics that is suitable for graduate and postgraduate students of English. It is also an informational book for general readers. There aren't many books on this subject. Therefore, I chose to write this book. People with an educational background in English will benefit more from this book.
Mentally, a regular human has tried the Lordship of this big earth from time to time. Theoretically speaking, in many cases, he was duly awarded this Lordship. He gained it through his analytical mind and with his hard work. The man in this century wants to be celestial - like Lord INDRA temporarily attains the Lordship several times in his life but loses it, periodically, because of his vacillating behavior. He, thus, has a Heaven-like atmosphere whose future is very much restricted. After a long struggle, when a regular man started achieving the socalled Heaven's threshold, he is surprised by economic coterie. The business atmosphere has considerably shrunk the world's happiness. The tired man with his complicated mind has curtailed man's power to a minimum level. He starts forgetting his mental dreams. Eventually, his mental Heaven is similarly restricted. The celestial Draupadi is not only very beautiful but is also a talented lady. She has five husbands who all love her truly. She feeds everyone and never has an empty platter. She is very thoughtful and stayed with a practical life through thick and thin. The Lord Ram is perceived by his noble activities as an example of super good. On the other hand, notorious Ravan symbolizes a bad person with plenty of bad actions. All the work done in a man's lifetime draws his attention to some kind of philosophy. The philosophy and reality world are both standing sideby-side like some good and bad omen. But during this transformation 8 from Lord Ram to monster Ravan, we also notice the concept of a third entity. We do understand the concept of our third character in our heart but will not hear through our mind. It is definitely walking to us on firm foot. In order to accelerate our findings of the third character and its original goal, we have to clearly certify our restricted Heaven. Ultimately, there is plenty of love and affection in human life. We have to realize them entirely with our greatness of heart. This book is a recent translation to English. The original book, written approximately thirty years ago in the Bengali language, was very much appreciated through overseas periodicals and newspapers. That was, in itself, a special phenomenon from an overseas author. Interestingly, I have written fourteen original books which include short stories, drama, essays, and poems.
Winner of the Science Fiction Research Association Book Award 2021.This is the first book-length study of the relationship between science fiction, the techno-scientific policies of independent India, and the global non-aligned movement that emerged as a response to the Cold War and decolonization. Today, we see the trend of science fiction writers being used by governments as advisors on techno-scientific policies and defence industries. But such relationships between literature, policy and geo-politics have a long and complex history. Glimpses of this history can be seen in the case of the first generation of post-colonial Indian science fiction writers, the policies of scientific and technological development in independent India, and the political strategy of non-alignment advocated by India’s first prime minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, who proposed that Third World nations should maintain an equal distance between Washington and Moscow. Such a perspective reveals the surprisingly long and relatively unknown life of Indian science fiction, as well as the critical role played by the genre in imagining alternative pathways for scientific and geo-political developments to those that dominate our lives now.
