Obesity is a metabolic and enzymatic disorder. Treatment concepts such as "calorie balance", "exercise", and "low-fat foods" are as archaic as "blood-letting". What is occurring in our country and this world is considered by some as no less than "mass murder". We are presently as backwards with our approach to this issue as we have been with cigarette smoke and drunk driving. Now is the time to make a change.
