Lana Gray, vampire hacker extraordinaire gets asked to help when a young werewolf girl goes missing, possibly at the hands of another vampire. Too bad the man in charge of the case is Detective Bane Lucas who can't seem to stand Lana and her vampire antics. Lana is something of a celebrity in the nonhuman world, not for being a vampire, but for being orphaned by her sire, who is still unknown after fifty years. What kind of cruel monster would turn a young girl against her will and leave her for dead? Lana would love to get his name and ask him directly, but she's never found a lead to his identity. Detective Bane Lucas may be the alpha of his pack, a well-respected Dallas detective and drop dead handsome but he is majorly hands off to Lana. Vampires can't fraternize with wolves and that's tragic because Lana would really like to get her hands on Bane. The Vampire Magistrate keeps making it harder for Bane and Lana to find the missing girl, despite the fact that Lana is having an affair with him. Vampire politics are harsh and confusing and even mind-blowing sex isn't enough to break the rules apparently. Lana decides she wants to step out from behind the computer and do some field work to find who has the kidnapped girl, but that involves the outdoors. There is nothing Lana hates as much as the outdoors, except for snakes. Bane disagrees with Lana about letting her operate in the field even after he finds out more kids are missing. He doesn't seem to believe that despite her small size she is capable of defending herself. He keeps forgetting she's an apex predator too, maybe she needs to remind him. Can Lana find the missing kids before the worst happens? What can a pint size vampire do against an army of vampires? Sarcastic wit and sharp nails may not be enough. Will Bane be there to help her rescue them from their captors or will he be too late? At the end of the day the ultra harsh rules of the Magistrate might be the undoing of Lana Gray when it comes time to face the consequences for how everything played out. She can't let Bane take the blame and she's not afraid to trade places with him to satiate her need for justice to be served.
Work sucks. Broken down car. Stood up on her birthday. Things just can't seem to go right for Savannah Huntington, investigative reporter. So, when a young boy is nearly killed in front of her, Savannah does what she does best, investigate to find out who wants him dead even if that puts a target on her back. Savannah must keep the boy safe and enlists her shady brother in-law Grant, security expert and occasional lover Sid and his minions and even her sometimes boyfriend and homicide detective Tony to help her find the would be killer. As if life isn't cruel enough, Savannah's ex-fianc skips out on his bond and she makes a deal with Sid to take him back in for half the money. Money she really needs. She must go back into her silver spoon life to drag him back out and into jail but not before she runs into exactly who she was trying to avoid, her mama. Dr. Lillian Huntington isn't thrilled to see her youngest child at the Newport Black and White Ball, especially since her date to the ball isn't dating her. Savannah can't win when disapproving Lilly gets on a roll or when Sid wants to talk business with her parents. Bullets, Stalkers, Disapproving mothers and Brother in-laws have nothing on Savannah's great aunt Tootie, who wants to get her hands on a man despite her advanced age and hot pink hair. Who says a wealthy widow needs to be demure? Loud. Brash and sassy are the best way to describe Savannah's favorite family member, Tootie. The on again/off again with Tony is wearing thin and Sid doesn't seem to want to be Savannah's boyfriend but the illicit kisses and steamy nights with him make it harder to make the grown-up decision to find a man who wants to be her boyfriend for more than a week. If only there was a book full of hunky men she could look through? What happens when Savannah's stalker decides to call on her at home? Sid steps in and Savannah ends up living in his building in one of the super plush apartments. It's so much nicer than her place, but she's single and the building is crawling with well-muscled minions and Sid, there is no way Savannah can stay more than a night or two, right? Strap in for humor, romance and some impressive sleuthing as Savannah takes charge of finding who wants her dead and maybe, just maybe a second chance at romance.
Savannah Huntington, investigative reporter, gets a chance to interview the mysterious owner of CIS, the premier private security company in Providence. The owner Sid Cross is sex walking and Savannah finds herself attracted to the military hero who might have just met his match. Sid's never met a woman quite like Savannah, smart, sexy, brave and a crack shot. Savannah's knack for stumbling into trouble continues to be an issue as she finds herself head deep in a human smuggling ring. When the darkness of the criminal world lands on her doorstep who can Savannah turn to for help? Her on-again off-again boyfriend and police detective Tony DiRicco? Or the very hunky and brave Sid Cross? Either way Savannah knows she's going to need some serious coffee and chocolate to navigate the romantic waters of either man.

Suns, Moons & Stars, Hearts, Flowers & Butterflies is a catalogue of the art pieces in a local Oregon community Art Exhibit. The Author is also the Artist and considers this particular style of creating as Experimental Expressionism. The Artist finds a therapeutic approach through the use of mixed media materials. Artist's Statement, "Immersing oneself into healthy hobbies helps with overall well-being and self-esteem. Many of my creations are a form of therapeutic healing in times of high stress. I use a variety of materials to create images. These include paints, glue, yarn, fabric and recycled items that would otherwise be thrown away. I am trying to do a little part to save the environment while creating a little more peace and harmony."Each page has a color photo of the artwork included in the collection starting at the beginning of the exhibit. The first piece in the collection is titled, "To Change the World, Love Your Family". This concept is repeated throughout the exhibit. Each piece contains thought provoking questions to help the viewer think about the artwork and their position in relation to the piece.
