A Planning Framework for the Green New Deal

A PLANNING FRAMEWORK FOR THE GREEN NEW DEAL There are five critical problems that we must deal with as soon as possible: 1. We must rapidly produce renewable and safe nuclear reactor energy to reduce and eliminate carbon dioxide in the atmosphere; 2. We need to create 47 million sustainable jobs to replace those that will be eliminated by automation; 3. We need to build massive amounts of affordable workforce housing; 4. We need to eliminate gas-driven cars and replace them with renewable energy cars and mass transit; 5. We must replace shareholder capitalism with worker-owned cooperatives which pay a livelihood wage, and supply a comfortable retirement and health care, in exchange for a lifetime of work. All of these projects can be accomplished by using a New Town planning framework. We need to build New Towns for the 21st Century across the United States. By using this planning framework, we can use all of the advanced knowledge of city planners, architects, engineers and farmers. We will be able to use our "best practices" and new technologies, including recycling and regenerative agriculture and forestry to create carbon dioxide sinks. The billionaires of the world have a rich opportunity to advance the forward days of humankind with an urgent and uniting work effort.

When Jarrod Grant was fourteen years old, he watched helplessly as a troll-like creature emerged from a portal in his bedroom and abducted both his mother, and his younger brother. He spent years brooding over the fact that they were gone, but during his senior year of high school, two very special girls would change everything. Tina and Sarah, made it their mission to find him some answers about what had happened to his family. Their research led them to a woman named Patricia Samuels, who gave them far more answers than they'd bargained for. Not only was she able to tell them what happened to Jarrod's family, but she also provided them with something far more valuable. Through her research, she was able to locate the only person who'd ever returned after being abducted. That man provided her with notebooks full of information about his time as a slave in another dimension, and he also provided her with something she hadn't dared to hope for. He gave her the amulet he'd used to get back home. An amulet that was capable of opening portals to five different dimensions, including the one where Jarrod's family were being held in slavery, along with many others. With this ability now in hand, they set off on their first forays into the Faranox dimension with the goal of securing an amulet for each member of the team, after which, the planning and execution of the rescue mission will finally commence.

The reader will also experience Marine Corps Boot Camp and what it's like to be a in Law Enforcement as a Patrol Officer, Narcotics Undercover Agent, a Federal Special Agent and Chief of Police. Halfbreed will be released in three separate books and part three will detail how I dealt with the ultimate betrayal's both personnel and professional while battling the Federal Government in an epic 7 year court battle. Halfbreed will also in part three detail the covenant truth of the Historical Jesus and how the Native Americans in general are of the 10 scattered tribes of Ephraim using both circumstantial and direct evidence to support this theory. I am betting there are literally hundreds of thousands or maybe even millions of people of all races who call the United States of America home who have been told by their parents or grandparents at one time or other that they have connections to the Native Americans somewhere in their family tree. Halfbreed will inspire the reader to seek truth while outlining a basic simple non religious way to be in a daily relationship with our Creator Yod Hey Wav Hey (YHWH) Yahweh aka "God" as shown to us by the Historical Jesus.

Ernest George Henham (1870-1948) was a prolific English author who frequently wrote under the pseudonym of John Trevena. His works centered on the wilderness frontier in Canada and the rural Dartmoor area of England. In many ways Henham carried on the traditions of Thomas Hardy, Eden Philpotts and George Alfred Henty. He published more than two dozen novels, the most famous of which are "Menotah," "Furze the Cruel," "Heather," and "Granite." Henham also wrote numerous short stories and several essays in various periodicals that are combined for the first time in this collection. They consist of 56 pieces published between 1896 and 1917, including two short stories from the files of Henham's London literary agent that were unpublished during Henham's lifetime. In excess of forty original illustrations and photographs from the works are also included. The introduction to this collection of rare works is a detailed biography that sheds new light on an author who was regarded as a reclusive and mysterious hermit of the moors, but whose actual life was much more interesting and filled with adventure than his public ever imagined.

Let Go: Accepting Who You Are Today So You're Ready for Where You'll Be Tomorrow
It can be hard to let go. Maybe your past was incredible and you wish things in your life could be that way again. Perhaps your past was horrible and you can't stop thinking about the hurt and the pain. Whether it's good or bad, we all struggle with the baggage of the past. The longer we hold on to something we should have dropped awhile ago, the harder it becomes for us to look at where we are and who we are right now. You can see the future ahead of you, and you know that your ultimate destination promises to be pretty amazing. But you'll never get there carrying all that weight. In this book, Duane S. Montague, the author of Resting Merry: Discovering Joy & Peace at Christmas, offers humor, wisdom, insight--and a healthy dose of honesty about the journey toward acceptance. Using scripture and his own experiences as a father, husband, and pastor, as a guide map, he helps you find how to accept who you are today so you're ready for where you'll be tomorrow.
Ultimate Conquest: A short guide in conquering oneself to achieve maximum results in life and business.
A short to the point, content packed guideline to conquering oneself and achieving your goals. Sometimes we need a step by step method of getting to where we need to be. This short guide can be that method if you choose it to be. There are areas that would resonate more with some than with others. These are the people who have reached a plateau and need a fresh point of view to get to where they wish to be. Meditation, physical training and learning all contribute to the overall well being of any individual and especially those who wish to better themselves. Containing references to quantum mechanics and the Law of Attraction, I also refer to the ancient teachings and how they apply to our life today.

How does one write an intriguing book description? I suppose one could say... cue movie voiceover] Imagine a world where everyone is addicted to technology... People no longer speak to one another. Payments are made with the swipe of a hand. Nothing is more valuable than being "liked." Everybody knows everything about everyone by virtue of their profile. And all of it is monitored and safely stored in a database. Such is life for the Citizens of Story City. But it doesn't bother them, in fact, they seem to enjoy it and the peace of mind that comes with such innocuous surveillance. Contrast this reality with the citizens of Storyville who think it's all a bunch of silly nonsense, and can't wait to prove it at the annual Novelty Games. One will fall. One will triumph. Who will it be this year? Or maybe... A tale of two small towns divided by a lone river... One embraces and adores technology, the other is hesitant and skeptical, a modern band of Luddites. Follow one man's journey to the heart of their cultures, meet a sage-musician with a peculiar suspicion of Carnival Ringmasters virtually operating reality, and if you're not afraid to ask questions, gather insight as to which side of the river you're standing on. If exploration of the Past can illuminate the Present, then perhaps by doing so we could envision a brighter Future. Shed in a different light: If we hear the echoes of yesterday and acknowledge their significance in our voices today, perhaps we can sing the joyous songs of tomorrow together in harmony. Too much? Cripes. Alright. Well, the point is if we all chose to embark on that journey, maybe, just maybe we could arrive at the answer to the quintessential Question of Our Time: To Post or not to Post? Or... I could simply be honest. I majored in English Literature and minored in Philosophy. I wrote Echoes of Yesterday to help pay off my student loans. For the price of a case of beer, you can assist in the melting of that iceberg. I dig music and have written many songs over the years, so I wrote a story about a band and recorded their songs so you can actually hear the music instead of just imagine what it sounds like. Echoes of Yesterday is a philosophical novel. It is heavily driven by dialogue (just as Life is heavily driven by dialogue), and it largely focuses on our collective obsession with ahem, borderline addiction to] digital technology. Echoes of Yesterday is an exploration of the Self. The journey is yours to take. How much technology is too much? Is it helping or hurting us? Is it a virtue or a vice? Are we really more connected or are we losing sight of what makes us Human amid endless streams of distraction and desire? Is it ironic that you're reading this online? It is... isn't it? So you see, while we're virtually surrounded by all the answers, it really depends on the questions you ask. As we collectively wade through new torrents of digital reality, will we drown in the current? Should we dwell on the shores of our traditional past or bank on the unknowns of our future? Is there a way to bridge the gap? Does it even matter? It's up to each individual to decide. It's entirely up to you. So now the real question is: ARE YOU WILLING TO ASK? Why not click purchase and find out? ______________________________ Echoes of Yesterday is a Novel + Soundtrack. Once you receive your copy of the novel, there is a secret password on the second-to-last page of the book. This password gives you exclusive access to the companion soundtrack. This book-Familie Allwein: Volume III: Western Migrations-is volume three of a series of books about the history of the Allwein family in America, a family descended from an eighteenth-century German immigrant Johannes (Hans) Jacob Allwein and his wife, Catharina. Familie Allwein: Volume III: Western Migrations builds upon earlier volumes of Familie Allwein, which dealt with the Allwein family's emigration from Germany to America and their settlement in colonial Pennsylvania. The first volume, Familie Allwein-An Early History, set the stage for later volumes. The second volume, Familie Allwein-Journeys in Time and Place, covered Allwein descendants living east of the Allegheny Mountains over the seventy-year period from about 1870 through 1940. Part 1 of Journeys in Time and Place focuses on those families that settled in southeastern Pennsylvania, particularly in Lebanon, Philadelphia, and the Berks Counties. Part 2 of Journeys in Time and Place focuses on those families living in Dauphin, Lancaster, Adams, York, and Blair Counties in south central Pennsylvania. This third volume of Familie Allwein-Western Migrations-covers families who moved to western Pennsylvania and those who migrated farther west. Not only is the present volume an update on the families covered in earlier volumes of Familie Allwein but it also extends the coverage of Allwein families by tracing their paths west-not only to the western counties of Pennsylvania but also to Ohio, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, Nebraska, and places farther west, including California. As in earlier volumes of this series, the author's careful documentation of all sources and attention to detail make it possible to reproduce his findings and re-examine his conclusions.
