Some risks are more dangerous than others...Judd "Judge" Scott lives a simple life running a successful business with his cousin, Deacon. As a bail bondsman and bounty hunter, he's good at what he does.He never expected Trip to come home and resurrect the Blood Fury MC, reopening old wounds. Being asked by the new prez to fill his late father's boots as the Sergeant at Arms should be a hard no for Judge. Not only are they some pretty big boots to fill, but he also has too much to lose if things go sideways. Besides it risking his bail bonds business, he's worried history will repeat itself and Judge wants to avoid ending up in prison, or dead, exactly like his father did. Even so, he reluctantly takes the spot as the club's enforcer and wears his old man's colors on his back.Despite having no interest in a woman complicating his life, he's intrigued by the young mother who shows up in town with her little girl. However, once Judge learns why she's come to Manning Grove, he finds he has no choice but to get involved. And that could create more complications than they're worth.Note: Blood & Bones: Judge is the third book in the Blood Fury MC series. As always, this book has no cheating, no cliffhanger and has an HEA. It's recommended to read this series in order.

"Pray for another in this series. Two are not enough. This fictional struggle between Heaven and Hell in Heaven's Judge is indeed fascinating speculative fiction." - Edward Squires, Not Quite a Novella Arndt Schorr's first book in the series, Heaven's Intent, answered the question: Is there a devil? Lucifer, the fallen angel, having plagued the Earth through the ages, emerged in the 21st Century as the head of a colossal, worldwide media corporation. Now he's back again in this epic battle between good and evil. You will read it as if following headline news, if it was reporting on the struggle between Heaven and ... well, that other place.

"Hold your head up high and keep going forward. Where you are going far outweighs the importance of where you are coming from."Someone said that life is not a bed of roses. For some, it is a bed of thorns. Dr. Orville Bedford has written this book, Don't Judge Me By My Scars, or Hold Me Hostage To My Past, for those who are still in the bed of thorns, still in recovery from the thorns or have been healed but have the scars to show. Beckford takes us on a journey through the Scriptures, demonstrating to us that even our greatest heroes in the Bible had scars. He reminds us to " s]how me a man without scars, and I will show you someone who has never faced the real world."God saw your scars, knew where you are coming from, where you are, and what you will experience as you move forward, yet he has chosen to extend his grace to you and to make something beautiful out of you.Whereas the author assures us that the blood of Jesus ensures against scars derailing our destinies, the greatest challenge we face is the people closest to us-including the church. The very hospital to which we run for healing often becomes the greatest inflictor of pain, pouring salt on many open wounds.Don't Judge Me By My Scars or Hold Me Hostage To My Past provides the antidote to the wounds inflicted on those who are deeply scarred. Through self-analysis, journeying through the Scriptures, and powerful exhortations, Beckford leads the reader into the revelation that the "journey is not the destination" and those scars in the "ugly past are history." In doing so, he makes the world lovable again.Judith A. Duncker, Ph.D.

Judge Garcia has brought dignity and compassion to his courtrooms for over thirty years, Tom Moore, Assistant United states Attorney, San Antonio.Judge Hippo inspired me to become a lawyer. I am blessed to have him as a mentor. He is my oldest son's godfather, a role he fulfills for the children of so many of his friends who love him as a part of their families"Thomas J. Christian Poetry based upon thoughts from the Word of God. THE JOB EXPERIENCE (Job 1:1 AMP) There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who feared God with reverence] and abstained from and turned away from evil because he honored God]. (Job 42:1-6 AMP) (1) Then Job answered the Lord and said, (2) "I know that You can do all things, And that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained. (3) " You said to me] 'Who is this that darkens and obscures counsel by words] without knowledge' Therefore I now see] I have rashly] uttered that which I did not understand, Things too wonderful for me, which I did not know. (4) 'Hear, please, and I will speak; I will ask You, and You instruct and answer] me.' (5) "I had heard of You only] by the hearing of the ear, But now my spiritual] eye sees You. (6) "Therefore I retract my words and hate myself] And I repent in dust and ashes." Every child of God will experience a season similar to but pray-fully not equal to the Biblical character Job. A time where only God (not man) can give you the answers your seeking. A season where God wants you to learn of Him for yourself and not thru the testimonies of others (Job 42:5 "I had heard of You only] by the hearing of the ear...). And the trail of your faith? Not to test your faith to show an omniscient God where you are (He already knows). But rather to show you where you are not In this season, we ask God the question (Why Won't You Answer?) when it seems He is not responding. We ask God for wisdom (I Wisdom) as we desperately try to understand why we go thru the things we go thru. In return, God teaches us to humble ourselves before Him (Pride of Life) (O how the Son did fall ). We ask Him for strength (The War Rages On) as the fight rages on within us. We ask Him to open our spiritual eyes as we try to be effective witnesses (Can the blind lead the blind?). We ask God to teach us how to love Him and others (I Love You). But first, God teaches us who He is and that He is a God of Love (The Lion and the Lamb) (Triune). He illustrates His love He has for His people as a husband loves his wife (The Epic Story of Love). Then He demonstrates this love as He lays down His life (The Going down and the Rising of the Son (sun)). The Judge Standeth Before the Door is written to encourage believers to live for God with their whole heart. Job was perfect and upright in his ways, yet there was more to know of God and His ways. I pray that these poetic thoughts will encourage believers to examine themselves, read, pray and seek the face of God like never before.

Christian Poetry based upon thoughts from the Word of God WHICH CROSS ARE YOU ON? There are times in our lives when we will endure trials, tests, and even persecution. During those times we may question ourselves, our walk with God, and even God Himself. It was at that point in my life when these series of poems were written. I questioned God's plan, His purpose and even His presence in my life. During this period of repeatedly asking God "Why," He pointed to the Scriptures concerning trials, persecution, and the cross. (Matthew 16:24 AMP) Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to follow Me as My disciple], he must deny himself set aside selfish interests], and take up his cross expressing a willingness to endure whatever may come] and follow Me believing in Me, conforming to My example in living and, if need be, suffering or perhaps dying because of faith in Me]. As believers, we are commanded to deny ourselves, take up our crosses and follow Him. (Mat 16:24). However, we may not fully realize (as I did not realize) the significance of our crosses and what they are truly achieving in our lives. We often forget that between the promises of God and the fulfillment of that promise is usually a cross of pain, process, and perhaps persecution. The Scriptures tell us that we are changed into His image from glory to glory (2 Cor 3:18), but we often need reminding that during this transformation we may experience distress and discomfort. The Bible states that we must crucify our flesh with the affections and lusts (Gal 5:24), and to present our bodies as living sacrifices (Rom 12:1). However, we must be aware of the fact that the process of crucifying and sacrificing is not pleasant or enjoyable. When Jesus told us to take up our cross, we must understand that a cross is symbolic of suffering, sorrow, false accusation and persecution. In Jesus' time, those who were accused and condemned for being rebels or loathsome criminals were tortured and then crucified. The convicted was scourged or flogged to a state just short of death. They were beaten with a flagrum (a whip made of bone and metal attached to leather strands). Scourging produced deep bruising, lacerated skin and muscles, considerable blood loss and even shock. After the scourging or flogging, the condemned was forced to carry part of their own cross (top crossbeam) to the site of the crucifixion outside the city. The cross (crucifixion) was one of the most painful, gruesome, humiliating, and disgraceful forms of execution. Some crosses (tests, trials, and tribulations) are unavoidable in our lives As with Christ, we were predestined to face them. They must happen Our destiny depends on them (2 Tim 3:12 KJV "Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.") During my time of crying out to God, wanting my test/trial to quickly end; the Lord took me to the Word concerning His suffering, His cross, His abandonment, and crucifixion. Then He asked me the question "WHICH CROSS ARE YOU ON?" It is my prayer that as you face your cross (tests, trials, and tribulations) in life, that you sincerely seek the Lord and ask Him the meaning and the revelation of your cross. My hope and prayers are that while you are seeking the Lord that He will also reveal to you, WHAT CROSS YOU ARE ON

If you are a Christian and concerned about the martial arts, or have doubts about their origin and compatibility with Christianity, then this book is for you. As an ex-martial artist, and now a pastor, this book studies, from the masters of the martial arts, what they say and their experiences, and compares them to Christianity. The book looks at two forms that are comparable to most martial arts, karate and tai chi. If you are concerned for your children's involvement in the martial arts, then you need to read this book. If you sense something wrong with these Eastern forms of defense, but don't know what it is, then this book may answer that question in your heart. There are two 'ways, ' the martial way and Christ's way, it is up to you to decide which way you choose.
