La carenza di boro un problema diffuso nella produzione agricola, dove ogni anno si registrano perdite significative sia in termini quantitativi che qualitativi. La carenza di boro nei terreni di Vindhyan in aumento a causa della consistenza leggera del suolo, del basso contenuto di materia organica e della continua rimozione da parte dei legumi. L'intera area della regione di Vindhyan alimentata da acque piovane e oltre il 50% del territorio adatto alla coltivazione di semi oleosi e legumi in zone montuose. In genere, gli agricoltori non utilizzano fertilizzanti per i legumi a causa della mancanza di conoscenze e, di conseguenza, la produttivit dei legumi in questa regione piuttosto bassa. Al momento sono disponibili poche informazioni scientifiche sulla distribuzione del boro nei terreni superficiali e sotterranei. A defici ncia de boro nos solos de Vindhyan est a aumentar devido textura leve do solo, ao baixo teor de mat ria org nica e remo o cont nua por leguminosas. Toda a rea da regi o de Vindhyan alimentada pela chuva e mais de 50% das terras s o adequadas para o cultivo de sementes oleaginosas e leguminosas em topografia de terras altas. Geralmente, os agricultores n o aplicam fertilizantes nas leguminosas devido falta de conhecimento e, como resultado, a produtividade das leguminosas nesta regi o bastante baixa.
