APRIL IN PARIS, a rhyming book written for children, ages 3-8, is the first fun-filled escapade in a series, following the international travels of April Rae Sunshine, a lighthearted, endlessly curious girl. With comical mishaps, spurred on by her sense of adventure, we follow April, skipping, tripping, and oops... even flying throughout the streets of Paris, as she discovers their culture and language.
Artist, designer, and lifestyle entrepreneur, April Cornell, opens her home and her life, to reveal how she captures the beauty of nature and expresses it throughout her personal and private living space. Features April's own introspections and illustrations, homey sketches that perfectly punctuate each page. In this refreshingly eclectic and intimate assemblage of home design inspirations, April takes the reader on a walk through her world of colour, textures and style, using her charming Victorian-style family home in Vermont as the showcase for her personal approach to design and decorating. In doing so, she inspires readers to rethink their own relationship with the natural world and suggests ingenious ways to enhance any home using nature's perfect palettes. Beautifully illustrated throughout, the book is a cornucopia of refreshingly simple, yet sumptuous home decorating ideas. It is also the inspiring story of an artist who has "looked" at her life and has been so dazzled by its inherent beauty that her focus is unwaveringly uncomplicated. Readers need not mimic April's style to appreciated the sagacity and sensuality of her design philosophy; her serene approach to home decorating is both infectious and achievable.

April is run ragged trying to control the damaging side effects of Cherry's meddling, and at the same time, find a mysterious frog that isn't a frog. When April exhibits symptoms of a mysterious magical malaise, so too does the magically guarded elvan realm. Worse yet, the protective forcefield is trapping the buildup of tainted magic. Is April's departure the only way to save New Haven from shattering apart? Or does the frog know more than he's croaking? And if so, how can she get him to talk? "... a riveting read of magic, myth, mystery and misadventure ... Fiction. I read the book as soon as I got back from Vegas. Then I read it again. His four leading men were Jews stumbling through late middle age, New Yorkers who despise and love each other in about equal measure. They were, as a group, stunned before their own capacities for trouble--schmendricks who fail ecstatically. Most remarkable were Camoin's sentences, which bristled with the supple dynamism of Bellow, the jazzy patter of Elkin--Steve Almond.
"An artist book of photos, which anchors Sullivan's observations on the architecture of material. The combing of decay, human wear, accumulation and disintegration in these images connects natural forces with the hermetic studio practice. "

This Homeless book is a tribute written and dedicated to both, my reading audience and the homeless people who provided much material, not so much through individual accounts of their own lives, but more so through my personal observations over several decades.I have had the good fortune provided by the U.S. Government to travel extensively not only within the country, but also outside of its borders, and in the process had the opportunity to gauge foreign cultures against our own. It was this platform that provided me with great insight into other country's problems, as well as with homelessness, not only inherent to the United States but worldwide.I should point out that countries have the same or similar issues with diverse social behavior not being easily managed. It seems that money does not matter much to the self-imposed homeless. Their objective for a successful life is geared towards a freedom of movement and social independence. I realize that there are two factions when addressing homelessness. One, there are the unfortunate ones landing on the streets who have lost a job, became too ill to work, feeling culturally deprived for equality, disabled American war veterans, drug and alcohol addicts that cannot perform on the job, and many more victims. Two, there is the nomadic hippie, nomad, and prepper seeking independence from government subjection and social responsibility. I hope the reader will have the patience to accept the wealth of material and information on the homeless issues I present within my story on homelessness. It is this information that will make one understand the homeless situation from both perspectives, the reader and the destitute.
The peace of spring is shattered for criminal investigator Larry Macklin when his best friend, Pete Henley, is accused of brutally killing his daughter's ex-boyfriend. Larry knows that Pete is innocent, but the evidence is heavily weighted against him. Before Larry can even begin to clear Pete's name, he is pulled off of the case to investigate another murder where the prime suspect is the local chief of police. As Larry investigates the latest death, it soon becomes clear that the murders may be related, part of a string of killings stretching back almost two decades. In order to solve the case, Larry will have to risk everything he holds dear-his ethics, his friendships, his loyalty to the sheriff's department... and his life.

As a fashion buyer at B. Altman, Dana McGarry is a tastemaker, her keen instinct for fashion trends and innovative ideas coupled with a razor sharp business sense. But like the elegant and conservative store that employs her, Dana is caught between two eras-between being liked and standing her ground, between playing by the rules and being a maverick. Dana is sensitive and beautiful, but what you see is not what you get. Behind the cool and attractive facade, Dana is both driven by her need to control yet impeded by her expectation of perfectionism. As she competes to replace women at the top of their game, she is challenged by jealous colleagues. And as she encounters wealthy suitors who want to open doors and support her ambition, she embraces Coco Chanel's mantra of "never wanting to weigh more heavily on a man than a bird." As the 1970s women's movement paves the way, the newly divorced Dana finds her path to the woman she wants to be.The Dana McGarry Series is set in an age of opportunity where women's choices have consequence and living the life they want may come at the expense of what they need.
