Die Ergebnisse dieser Forschung, die einem qualitativen Ansatz folgt, tragen zur Bereicherung der P dagogischen Wissenschaften bei, indem sie eine Charakterisierung und Konzeption des Funktionierens von Familien mit geh rlosen Kindern liefern, die eine kulturhistorische Grundlage hat und die Vorurteile von ber cksichtigt die vorherrschende Kultur gegen ber der Geh rlosengemeinschaft sowie die Einstellungen der Eltern, die sich auf die Sozialisierung des Kindes auswirken und die p dagogischen Grundlagen f r die Erziehung von Eltern mit geh rlosen Kindern definieren.

The practice in the special school for deaf schoolchildren of Villa Clara, has allowed to appreciate that families with deaf children have limitations to assume an active position in relation to the education of their children, at the same time there is insufficient preparation in some teachers to address these issues and execute actions that favor the educational functioning of the same, therefore the present study is oriented to the participatory elaboration of an educational strategy that contributes to the educational functioning of families with deaf children. The results obtained in this research that responds to a qualitative approach, contribute to the enrichment of the Pedagogical Sciences by providing a characterization and conception on the functioning of families with deaf children, which has a historical cultural support and takes into account the prejudices of the dominant culture towards the deaf community, as well as the attitudes of the parents that affect the socialization of the child, defining the pedagogical bases for the education of parents with deaf children.

La pr ctica en la escuela especial para escolares sordos de Villa Clara, ha permitido apreciar que las familias con ni os sordos tienen limitaciones para asumir una posici n activa en relaci n a la educaci n de los hijos, al mismo tiempo existe insuficiente preparaci n en algunos docentes para abordar estos temas y acciones ejecutar que favorecen el funcionamiento educativo de las mismas, por tanto el presente estudio se orienta a la elaboraci n participativa de una estrategia educativa que contribuye al funcionamiento educativo de las familias con ni os sordos. Los resultados obtenidos en esta investigaci n que responden a un enfoque cualitativo, contribuyendo al enriquecimiento de las Ciencias Pedag gicas al aportar una caracterizaci n y concepci n sobre el funcionamiento de las familias con ni os sordos, que tiene un sustento hist rico cultural y toma en cuenta los prejuicios de la cultura dominante hacia la comunidad sorda, as como las actitudes de los padres que afectan la socializaci n del hijo, defini ndose las bases pedag gicas para la educaci n de los padres con hijos sordos.
