Introduction to Chinese History From Ancient Times to 1912
Confining itself to the ancient and traditional state which ended constitutionally in 1912, this book aims to provide an introduction to the history of China. In dealing with Chinese history since the abdication in that year of the last Ch'ing emperor, a completely separate approach seems necessary, in view of that history's complexity, terms of reference, and what is perhaps a quite different structure -though admittedly the origins of the modem state may be sought in the traditional era and past traditions can be regarded as surviving for a time.

The Astrological and Numerological Keys to The Secret Doctrine Vol.1
H.P. Blavatsky's The Secret Doctrine is the foundational text for the dissemination of the esoteric tradition, as promulgated by the Masters of Wisdom for this new epoch. The Theosophical Society, the writings of Alice Bailey, Helena Roerich and other esotericists, are founded upon the basis of the advanced esoteric doctrines promulgated in that text. Here, for the first time, a proper exposition of the mode of the coding of the esoteric texts presented by the Masters is revealed. The object being to assist serious students of the esoteric doctrines to gain much deeper insights as to the nature of the hidden wisdom of the revelatory writings emanating from the Hierarchy of enlightened beings. This book consequently presupposes that the reader is familiar with the context of the writings of the above authors, and also my writings, because of the nature of the advanced esotericism that needs to be explicated. The focus of this analysis is upon the Stanzas of Dzyan (stanzas for meditation), the backbone of The Secret Doctrine. Those that take the time to properly study the texts will comprehend the vastness of the philosophy and awareness attained by enlightened beings, and so hopefully aspire to likewise gain enlightenment.
The Astrological and Numerological Keys to The Secret Doctrine Vol.2
This volume continues with a detailed explanation of the nature of the ageless wisdom and its codification via astrological and numerological means. It starts with happenings upon the higher mental plane, and then the process of the materialisation of phenomena right through to the dense physical plane. The subjective happenings underlying the formation of a world sphere are described, as well as the great Lives involved. The focus is upon thegenesis of our earth and of the incarnation of humanity upon it. Much more information is given concerning the activities of the twelve Creative Hierarchies than previously, plus the mode of the manifestation of phenomena, as it condenses from the subtle planes of perception to appear as dense substance. Our empirical scientists begin their investigations here, hence omitting the vast subjective processes and associated laws causing objective phenomena.Blavatsky's genius is revealed in her masterful incorporation of the vast esoteric philosophy via the most economic means, where each word chosen produces an astounding revelatory vision, once properly decoded. Those not familiar with this philosophy will be astounded by its overall completeness and breadth of detail. They will be led to an ocean of discovery as to what actually constitutes the nature of the content of an enlightened Mind. Hopefully this will lead many to seek the way to likewise become enlightened beings.

This book presents basic postulates concerning many esoteric concepts. These include the concept of 'God', what constitutes evil, the nature and function of karma, the manifestation of energy from the subtle planes of perception, the nature of manifest Divinity, as veiled by the concept of the Christ in the Bible, and the mysteries of Being. The analysis moves from my earlier Buddhist writings to focus upon the information in the Bible, especially in relation to the nature of the reappearance of the Christ, which here is equated with the externalisation process of the Hierarchy of Enlightened Being. This doctrine concerns the mode of the evolution of transcendent perception by humanity. The awakening of higher spiritual perceptions via the enlightenment path, and the understanding of the psychic constitution of the nāḍīs and chakras are also explained. A syncretic approach is therefore espoused through the comparison between Eastern doctrines and the presented esoteric Christianity. In doing so many of the veiled, hidden mysteries in the Gospel story and the book of Genesis are revealed. The text shows how these religions are but aspects of one fundamental religious evolution, of the historical development of what is known in the East as the dharma, and in the Western tradition as the 'Law of God'.

This book will set the stage for the new cosmological understanding for our local universe from the astrological perspective. The background for proper comprehension is my The Constitution of Shambhala, plus Bailey's A Treatise on Cosmic Fire and Esoteric Astrology. The focus is upon the Mother of the World's department, and the disastrous events that happened upon the moon in that far distant past when it harboured a human kingdom. The key individuals that went aberrant then, through grievous sex magical practices, have either since been converted upon the earth, to become the Hierarchy of Enlightened Being, or else are the forces of evil, the dark brotherhood that have presently taken over planetary affairs. That ancient history is traced to the next globe in our earth Scheme in the fifth Round that will bear a human kingdom. The astrological conditions that set the stage for this is first established, viewed from above down, rather than from the normal earth centred astrology. The focus is upon the activities of the former Logos of the moon Chain (which was a Taurean dispensation, ruled by the Mother's department).Explained is His subsequent fall and incarnation upon the earth, coupled with a similar, though lesser, fall of Sanat Kumāra. He did so to properly monitor the consequent dangerous situation upon the earth, because of the vast number of evil entities from the moon that subsequently incarnated, to admix with the earth's indigenous humanity. The events producing the great flood that sank the Atlantean continent have their true genesis here.

Ahiṃsā means 'harmlessness' - carried out in thought, word or deed. A major precept of Buddhists of all denominations is to practise harmlessness. Such activity is not supposed to be theory, but a practical fact - a sacred pledge (samaya) - integrated into the fibre of one's every mode of conduct on the path to enlightenment and liberation from saṃsāra.This text elaborates that all good intent along this line falls flat in the light of the practise condoned by many Buddhists of meat consumption. Harm is caused to the animal butchered, to the consumers of the flesh, and to the environment we live in. It is also a decidedly gross act of adharma (not-dharma) to all in the society wherein the Buddhist practitioner that consumes animal products resides. It is time that Buddhists heartily spurn all considerations of meat toxins in their bodily environments, to actively espouse the cause of true harmlessness in all that they do; and to act as Bodhisattvas by teaching all how to be compassionate through not killing or harming their animal brethren. The reasons are clear of the way to be truly compassionate, as all Buddhists should be. Read, learn, and observe your true motives in everything you do. Desist from harmful actions, and thereby grow and become Bodhisattvas and Buddas at the end of it all.

Europe is entering a new political epoch. The centre-left, now in government in many EU countries, has struggled to modernize itself and is now defining the shape of politics for the future. Bodo Hombach's book is one of the most important early attempts to flesh out the Third Way - moving it from being a successful electoral project to become a governing philosophy. Hombach, one of Gerhard Schr"der's closest advisers, who was Minister of State in the Chancellor's office, is a colourful and controversial figure. He has been described as the 'German Peter Mandelson' because he was the architect of Schr"der's election victory in 1997, which brought the Social Democrats to power after a decade and a half in opposition. His book, a bestseller in Germany, is the clearest definition of the popular 'Die Neue Mitte' project on which Schröder was elected, and on which the German voters will judge the government. It is striking in its bold rejection of many of the left's traditional approaches - the confrontational traditions of employers versus workers, the private sector versus the public sector, free market forces versus state direction - and this explains why Hombach and his book have been at the centre of the fierce debate about the soul and the future direction of social democracy. Professor Anthony Giddens and Mark Leonard, in the preface and introduction, put the book in the context of the global debate about the development of the Third Way, and also draw comparisons with events in the United Kingdom. Hombach's book is destined to become a key text on the future of European social democracy, of interest to political activists, policy-makers and students of politics.

The Constitution of Shambhala (Vol. 7B of a Treatise on Mind)
The theme of the first of the two parts of this volume concerns the feminine deva hierarchy, their relation to Hierarchy and Shambhala. Many concepts are introduced that most seekers have little cognisance (e.g., the nature of the deva Lord Varuna). The Mother of the World's role is revealed, and the feminine function in cosmos, (e.g., the Pleiades). Advanced teaching concerning the Lord of the World (Sanat Kumāra), and the higher Initiations are provided. The second part is a long esoteric poem detailing many inner plane revelations concerning the type of vision obtained when accessing Shambhala, plus Initiation teachings for disciples.
