This book is about a young man from England who from an early age was fascinated by the American so called Wild West and, guns as well, he became a prolific gunman by the time he was an adult his dream was to go to America to see if he could make a difference between the Indian and the white man how he did not know but, he wanted to try, he went there but, for a different reason than he thought. Readers of this book will find out how and why he went there. It contains murder among other things. It is based entirely on fiction but, some names are of real people who lived in the 1800's other names are fictional and if they do resemble any person alive today it is purely unintentional.
Nathan Wyeth finds himself hopelessly in love with a woman named Sheila, not realizing they are both vampires. When she disappears without a trace, he is joined by his friend Ronnie, trying to find some meaning in her mysterious existence. Ronnie falls in love with Nathan, not realizing he is a vampire. Lieutenant Joe Mace, investigating the violent murder of Ronnie's husband, runs into government-funded groups bent on controlling vampires, conducting a program to 'resocialize' them by medical treatment. When Nathan relapes from his treatments he is taken into custody by the vampire control project. Ronnie joins Mace to search for Nathan. After escapes and rejoins Sheila, Nathan is hunted by 'feral' vampires as well as the control project police. "You must kill her," says the vampire Little Eva, "Or we will." Confused by his love for both Ronnie and Sheila he decides to join Ronnie and disappear. However, they are captured by the vampires and sentenced to death in a mock trial.

The 18th century was a wealth of knowledge, exploration and rapidly growing technology and expanding record-keeping made possible by advances in the printing press. In its determination to preserve the century of revolution, Gale initiated a revolution of its own: digitization of epic proportions to preserve these invaluable works in the largest archive of its kind. Now for the first time these high-quality digital copies of original 18th century manuscripts are available in print, making them highly accessible to libraries, undergraduate students, and independent scholars. The Age of Enlightenment profoundly enriched religious and philosophical understanding and continues to influence present-day thinking. Works collected here include masterpieces by David Hume, Immanuel Kant, and Jean-Jacques Rousseau, as well as religious sermons and moral debates on the issues of the day, such as the slave trade. The Age of Reason saw conflict between Protestantism and Catholicism transformed into one between faith and logic -- a debate that continues in the twenty-first century.++++The below data was compiled from various identification fields in the bibliographic record of this title.
