The answer communicates the strong and sure message of hope in The Promise of Jonadab.Endorsements"Nothing should be more important to Christian parents than the continued strong faith of their children and following generations of the family. The Promise of Jonadab speaks to parents' hearts. Biblical history, personal anecdotes, examples from around the world. It makes for powerful Christian parents."-T. C. Imagine that Myths of Girlhood is a tapestry; feel the varying textures, and observe the movement of its patterns. In your hands, you hold the fibers of Christine E. Ray. For this book is much more than an arrangement of words. Myths is an experience--an exploration of madness and strength of will, illogic and rationality, all of which coexist inside a woman who is unafraid to let her soul speak. We were introduced to her exquisite truth-telling in Composition of a Woman. Myths of Girlhood is not a mere continuation, but a glass breaking roar.

After flying for 62 years, I still love it. I have traveled and flown all over the world and would not trade one moment of time.Watching Aviation evolve has been very exciting. Flying in the old days with a map in hand and following a highway has certainly changed. Today we have laptops connected to satellites for navigation and the cockpits are computerized and coupled to autopilot. At this time in my career I will not fly outside of city lights at night time without night vision goggles, unless I'm on an instrument flight plan. Why you ask, I know better.

MEANTIME IS A MOTHER They don't call it "mean" time for nothing. Meantime is the period of time between directives and destiny, promise and fulfillment, contract and deliverables For people offended by my statement above, let's just call it "transition." Dr. Lance Wallnau, a Christian leadership and change agent, defines transition as, "When I'm going through hell, but I think God is in it" (Wallnau, The 7 Mountain Mandate, Volumes 1, 2, 3). Herein lies the secret of getting through my mean times. When I was going through hell, I couldn't help but wonder whether or not God was in it, and if He was, then what was He doing? My mean times were getting to be so frequent and long that I started studying those bad boys in hopes of understanding how to move through them more quickly so I could get on with my life. Being the competitive person that I am, I started studying my mean times to find out my weaknesses. I looked at my weak spots so I could master them instead of them mastering me. I found out that there is both an art and a science to getting through the meantime. What do I mean by that? Well scientifically speaking, meantime has patterns which can be studied, and that means, they can be understood. The patterns show me clues, and possibly even help cut some mean times off completely. That's the science of it - understanding the nature and psychology of mean times so you can get through, and even get ahead in them - and move on with your life. I also believe there's an art to getting through the mean times. Mean times or times of adversity seem to be one of the strongest indicators of leadership Have you ever noticed how the people we admire most are those whose lives are marked by overcoming adversity or those who have come out of a series of difficult times? Meantime seems to be the mark of great leadership Think about it. You don't see people studying anyone who had it easy and never experienced going through difficulty. People usually want to hear from someone who's been there and done that and has the scars and the wounds to show for it, so they can help you avoid the rough spots, or get out of the pit. In my new book, Kings in the Meantime: Winning in Your Toughest Season, I found that meantime usually indicates something big or very great is about to happen, and that something could go either way, depending on how I handle it. In order to handle it well, I found out it was important for me to intricately understand and integrate who I am with what I am, and integrate what I am with why I am - in all aspects of my life. You see, most people don't know the answers to those questions, so they just move from point A to point B, never really putting the clues together. They really can't maneuver through the mean times well because these pieces are not integrated. In the final analysis, they miss opportunity because meantime is about opportunity Times of adversity seem to follow kings, people of great potential for impact and influence. If you find yourself in difficulty more than you'd care to admit, maybe you're a king not even aware of what to do with your kingship yet. That's why personal mentoring and business coaching is so important I'm here to help you identify and capitalize on the opportunities hidden in your meantime.
