ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Deborah Spine was born in Roseville, California, in the early 1950s. She became a Born-Again Christian at the age of 10 at Summer camp and has been walking with the Lord ever since. She has been married to Charlie for nearly half a century. They have two children, four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren so far In short, she is grateful for and humbled by all the blessings in her life. Debbie, Charlie, and their two chihuahuas currently live surrounded by giant pine trees in the Pacific Northwest of the United States. While Debbie was attending nursing school and preparing for an anatomy test, she started to daydream about how we are "fearfully and wonderfully made." She thought of her imperfect love for Jesus and His perfect love for her. She imagined offering herself to Him one body part at a time. She was reminded of Romans 6:12-13 "Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to him as an instrument of righteousness."
