Fikri S nmez (plus connu sous le nom de Terzi Fikri ("Fikri le tailleur")) (1938 - 4 mai 1985) dans le village de Kabakdağı du district de Fatsa Ordu en Turquie. Il a eu une enfance pauvre. Apr s l' cole primaire, il commence travailler comme apprenti chez un tailleur. Dans les ann es 1960, il devient membre du Parti des travailleurs turcs (TİP) et commence faire de la politique active. Il a travaill pour l'organisation du TİP Fatsa. Homme politique socialiste turc, il a t maire du district de Fatsa dans la province d'Ordu entre 1979 et 1980. Il a particip des actions contre la 6e flotte avec Dev-Gen (Jeunesse r volutionnaire). Il a t jug dans l'affaire du front communiste du peuple turc THKP-C en 1972. Il est accus d'avoir aid Mahir ayan2 et ses camarades traverser la mer Noire apr s leur vasion de la prison militaire de Maltepe. Lorsqu'il s'agit de maires qui ont bouscul la conception traditionnelle du gouvernement local en Turquie, l'un des premiers noms qui vient l'esprit est celui de l'ancien maire de Fatsa, Fikri S nmez. En outre, bien qu'il n'ait pu exercer ses fonctions de maire que pendant une p riode tr s courte de neuf mois, il n'a pas t en mesure de s'acquitter de ses fonctions de maire.

Fikri Sönmez (widely known as Terzi Fikri ("Fikri the Tailor")) (1938-4 May 1985) in Kabakdağı village of Fatsa district of Ordu in Turkey. He had a poor childhood. After primary school, he started working as an apprentice to a tailor. In the 1960s, he became a member of the Turkish Workers' Party (TİP) and started active politics. He worked for the organization of TİP in Fatsa. He was a Turkish socialist politician, who served as the mayor of Fatsa district of Ordu Province between 1979 and 1980. He took part in actions against the 6th Fleet together with Dev-Genç (Revolutionary Youth). He was tried in the THKP-C Turkish People's Communist front case in 1972. He was accused of helping Mahir Çayan2 and his comrades cross the Black Sea after their escape from Maltepe Military Prison. After being detained for about 2 years, he was released with an amnesty in 1974. When it comes to mayors who shook the traditional understanding of local government in Turkey, one of the first names that comes to mind is the former Mayor of Fatsa, Fikri Sönmez. Moreover, although he was able to serve as mayor for a very short period of nine months.
