Immerse yourself in the wonders of music and magic, as you follow a cast of creative puppets, who want to make a harmonious song late one night. But it's not as easy as it seems, and they encounter some problems along the way. What is their solution? "This is a delightful story which reaches children on so many levels, allowing them to live fully into their imaginations and encouraging them to create in a variety of different ways while also teaching practical skills of music making and life skills of listening, sharing and working collaboratively."-Jocelyn Kotchie, Composer and Music Educator, President of the WA Music Teachers Association."This book is a blueprint that sets the direction for the joy and yearning for learning. This amazing book immediately captures the essence of the magic of music, sound and rhythm so that any child will want and need to know more As a long-term educator and scholar of human understanding I have seen that this book delivers more than words and pictures but a journey of discovery. It leads to understanding and enchanting children into the joy of what makes us all seek music as our accompaniment to our lives and seek out delight and wonder in music to enchant the listener and the learner. Josie Thomas has homed in on the focus of finding excitement and captivation for early learners of music and as she is one of the great teachers of children it is worth noting that this book highlights why this is really worth reading for your child." -Dr Pamela D Schulz OAM, Senior Adjunct Research Fellow, University of South Australia (School of Creative Industries and Communication) Adelaide, July 2018

This accessible overview shows how the Bible--with its 66 books, dozens of authors, and multiple genres--comes together to provide an overarching story about God the King and explains how the Christian gospel and mission address the totality of human life.Written by a biblical scholar and a theologian, The Gospel of Our King shows how any account of gospel and mission can only be understood in light of the whole biblical testimony. The authors help us understand the Bible's overarching narrative as the story that encompasses everything. This story, revealed by God and centered on Jesus the King, enables us to know and love God and to fulfill his purpose for our lives. It is the framework within which we come to understand the Christian worldview, the Christian gospel, and the Christian mission. When we understand how the whole Bible fits together to shape the totality of a Christian's life, we will be prepared to show the goodness of Christ and the gospel to others in our personal, social, cultural, and global contexts.

"Though I walk through the valley, of the shadow of death I will fear no evil..." This is where it began, "The Rebirth of my Soul." I walked through fire and lived to tell about it. Only that was just the tip of the iceberg. My entire life changed. I survived yes, but the pain of it all appeared to be unbearable. The journey back to health became intertwined with the road to defining and reconstructing my individuality. Once reborn, the true test came, life itself.... In the memoir of "The Rebirth of my Soul," Series Author Aija M. Butler shared the trials and tribulations of healing and recovery. During this journey, she realized that sharing her stories of rehabilitation after her illness, helped to inspire and motivate others. Soon, the Rebirth series, encompassed all walks of recovery, in "Life Honestly after, Born Again the Resurrection" Aija touches on the many ups and downs of rehabilitation, life after...the death of a loved one, illness, divorce, abuse, the list goes on. In the development of The Journey, with partner Lj. Thomas this grassroots organization partnered with Alissa Jones and her project Survivors with Voices, together they have developed not only a voice but a resounding roar, in inviting women to share their voices of healing, survival, and restoration. This is the first of many journeys. Welcome, to 11 women sharing stories of remarkable recovery, survival, and redemption. From domestic abuse, loss of a child, to victims of violent crimes and substance abuse, read and be encouraged.

The tariff policies of the 1890-1922 led to the development of tariff rates that launched the United States on a path that led to later trade wars. The Republican Party and Porter McCumber took the lead in promoting these policies, claiming that the tariff would protect new and struggling industries. In many instances, items subjected to high tariffs were not in conflict with industries in the United States. In addition, although the tariff covered agricultural products, it was not sufficient to halt an agricultural decline. This work traces the course of U.S. policy through five tariffs which preceded the Fordney-McCumber tariff of 1922, when the tariff was used for both protection and revenue. McCumber's economic nationalism combined with his internationalism in other areas is detailed in the work.
