Travis Muñoz and the Fire of the Aztecs (Book 1)
Inspired by Aztec mythology and Mexican folklore, Travis Mu oz and the Fire of the Aztecs shines with baseball, best friends, sun gods, and snakemen in this action-packed, middle grade graphic novel fantasy. Karla Souza presents... TRAVIS MU OZ AND THE FIRE OF THE AZTECS A middle grade graphic novel about Aztec mythology, best friends, and baseball--from breakout creators Mark Stack and Anne Marcano Before the eclipse changed everything, Travis Mu oz's biggest problems were math class and whether he would still be able to play on the same baseball team as his best friend Yolanda. Now, Travis has to deal with his uncle Hector telling him he's been chosen as the next warrior priest for an Aztec sun god. Which means, it's his job to make sure the sun rises every morning. And his job to battle feathered snakemen who attack at random. Travis could probably manage both, if it weren't for the fact that Yolanda seems mad at him for being chosen over her. At least it's not the end of the world...yet. For fans of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, the Charlie Hern ndez series, J.C. Cervantes' The Storm Runner series, The Kane Chronicles, the Pandava series (Aru Shah series), the Tristan Strong series, The Sunbearer Duology, the Paola Santiago series, and the Addison Cooke series. "There's a void in the world of children's fantasy books--especially for kids like mine, who are growing up Mexican-American and hungry to see themselves in the stories they love. This book fills that void with thrilling adventure, rich Mexican mythology, and characters who reflect the beauty of our culture, our names, our family dynamics, and our power. At last, a story that makes our kids feel seen, celebrated, and connected to their ancestry. I'm overjoyed to share it with the world." -- Karla Souza (Acclaimed film and television actor, Emmy Award-winning actor, and UN Women Spokesperson)

Eugene Pierson grew up on a farm in Nebraska where he attended a one-room school for eight years with six other students. In high school he had twenty-seven classmates and was selected for boys state representative for his school. He later received a Union Pacific scholarship to the University of Nebraska, where he graduated with a BS degree; and later in his career in the pharmaceutical industry, he attended night school for an MBA from Seton Hall University. He served two years of active duty in the US Navy and is a Korean veteran. Eugene retired from an executive position in medical communication at sixty-five and formed his own company, Pharm Out, as a consultant where he traveled extensively to Europe and Southeast Asia. After several years, he retired again but took a forty-hour class to become a security officer; he now works nights at the age of eighty-seven. While patrolling at night, he was inspired by his rescue cat, Travis, to write a story about his actions and had it illustrated for publication as a picture book for children. Travis the Rescue Cat will be continued in a series of children's books.

Travis & The Labyrinth is a spellbinding tale of fantasy-adventure for kids, adults, and people still trying to decide which of those two things they are. After all, sometimes growing up in a magical fantasy world isn't as simple as you'd like it to be. Travis's story begins in an orphanage where the owner serves dirt for dinner. He's tormented by a bully who wants to squish his pets. And his only hope for adoption is a man who looks like a tree.Travis takes up with a magical outlaw, and the two find themselves on the run from the law. They set out on a quest to steal an enchanted sword with ties to Travis's family. But what dangers lurk in the forest outside Mercy Square? And can Travis's new father-figure be trusted? You'll have to summon your courage to find out as the gripping story unfolds, replete with bizarre creatures, bone-chilling threats, and advice for travelers on their own adventures in life."This novel has the most playful charm to it, quickly sweeping you into its magic, creatures, and lovably unique characters, including our hero, Travis. While I was immediately drawn in to the humor and wit of the verbal-fencing style dialogues, I found that Shore weaves in the mechanisms of his universe so seamlessly that they almost immediately felt both totally fresh and right. I read passages of this book to my 6 year old son, whose imagination sparked alive at the descriptions of jarters, viledarts, and rickticks. We can hardly wait to see what Shore envisions in his future works." - Teresa Marie Cowger
Travis Wayne Goodsell v The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints For RICO & Treason: My Existence Is Proof of Their Fraud!
I was born and raised in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and for 50 years was devoted and faithful. But I was not a blind follower and pursued an education in Ancient Languages and Cultures of the Middle East. The Book of Mormon claimed to be translated from Egyptian writing; the Book of Abraham claimed to be a translation of the Egyptian Papyri and the Founder, Joseph Smith Jr., rendered a different translation of the Biblical Hebrew text, but Mormonism was silent about how to translate. So, to defend Joseph and the Church, I naturally searched for the answers by going into the field of study. I ended up deciphering Paleo-Hebrew and Ancient Egyptian Picture Glyphs and discovered the Bible stories came from the Picture Glyphs. So, naturally, I took my work to the Church and asked if there was any other work by Joseph. The Church and Mormons responded with an all-out attack to silence and discredit me. I was shocked, to say the least. After my former Bishop banned me from attending his Ward in December 2017, I pursued a full research of LDS Church history. Pursuing primary sources and assembling the facts together, I was shocked and horrified by what I found. I learned that my existence was proof of the fraud of the LDS Church. I've since, published my findings about the Real Latter-Day Saint Church History. Starting in 2013, the LDS Church began posting on their online website, Gospel Topics Essays. In 2014, I read, "Translation and Historicity of the Book of Abraham", and was horrified that the Church was claiming Joseph was not a translator, but was merely a revelator. But I recognized the writing coming from BYU Apologists, because I had dealings with them 15 years previous where they told me Joseph was not a translator, so, I didn't connect it at the time with the LDS Church Leadership and was surprised they were now going public with their previously private claim to me. Because I've gone back to my Ancient Linguistic and Cultural work, Mormons have again resuming their attacks on me. I have therefore found it necessary to whistleblow on the LDS Church in a lawsuit, since they are the cause of Mormon attacks. I herein, present my case against The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints for RICO violations and Treason against the United States of America.
