It faces each stage with humour and fun, dealing light-heartedly, not only pre-op, but the aftermath and the resulting problems as well. No-one who reads it can fail to be amused, and in so being comforted in their own distress. It is a must-read for anyone facing that heart-stopping diagnosis.
