Dear Readers, We invite you to permeate the advances in Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) from the perspective of educational changes, especially in the implementation of semi-presential courses in higher education. Connectivism emerges in this context as a new educational approach. This theory proposed by George Siemens and Steven Downes (2004) points out that knowledge is distributed in a network of connections and that learning therefore consists of the ability to build these networks and circulate in them, thus developing the ability to reflect, decide and share. In this investigative journey, new perspectives imposed by the connectivist theory emerged that were necessary for a better understanding: the constant traffic through learning theories for comparison purposes, the heutagogical and andragogical models of learning, knowledge in networks and the instructional design of distance learning courses. Thus, the approach relied on the theoretical contribution and ideas of Siemens, Downes, Zezina Belan, Vani Moreira Kensky, Andrea Filatro, Jose Manoel Moran, Augusto de Franco, Jean Piaget, Skinner and others who provided an interdisciplinary character to the research.

Konflikte haben schon immer mit der Menschheit koexistiert, und gemeinsam berwinden sie Zeit und Raum. Wir finden sie sehr h ufig in Organisationen, auch wenn sie nicht immer auf die beste Art und Weise gehandhabt werden. Das Vorhandensein von Konflikten ist nicht unbedingt sch dlich f r Einzelpersonen oder Organisationen; im Gegenteil, wenn sie von F hrungskr ften konstruktiv angegangen und bew ltigt werden, tragen sie zu Wachstum und Entwicklung bei. In diesem Sinne ist es wichtig, die Art und Weise, wie wir mit Konflikten in Schulen umgehen und auf sie reagieren, zu aktualisieren. I conflitti hanno sempre convissuto con l'umanit e insieme trascendono il tempo e lo spazio. Li troviamo molto spesso nelle organizzazioni, anche se non sempre vengono gestiti nel modo migliore. L'esistenza del conflitto non necessariamente dannosa per gli individui o le organizzazioni; al contrario, se affrontato e gestito in modo costruttivo dai leader, favorisce la crescita e lo sviluppo. In questo senso, importante aggiornare il modo in cui gestiamo e rispondiamo ai conflitti che emergono nelle scuole. L'obiettivo principale di questo studio quindi quello di analizzare il ruolo dei dirigenti scolastici (superiori e intermedi) di fronte a situazioni di conflitto tra alunni.

Conflicts have always coexisted with mankind and together they transcend time and space. We find them very often in organizations, although they are not always managed in the best way. The existence of conflict is not necessarily harmful to individuals or organizations; on the contrary, if approached and managed constructively by leaders, it helps growth and development. In this sense, it is important to update the way we manage and respond to the conflicts that emerge in schools. The main objective of this study is to analyze the role of school leadership (top and middle) in situations of conflict between students.
