3,000 YEARS OF LOVE "In this book I have brought together a private and a public story. Some may say that, as convention dictates, I should have kept the two properly apart. I can only answer that love in its actuality, rather than the pale mirroring usually allowed us, knows no such boundaries. And surely, if ever stories of love were and still are needed, it is in our world today." So begins this remarkable story of the romance, return to Minoan Crete, and adventures in Greece, Italy, Germany, Africa, pioneering involvement in 20th and 21st century science and social action, and award-winning books of Riane Eisler and David Loye. We go behind the international best-seller The Chalice and the Blade, Sacred Pleasure, The Real Wealth of Nations and her many other books into the drama of the holocaust survivor and thinker who has been called "The New Renaissance Woman" and "One of the most important visionaries of our time." We go behind the award-winning The Healing of a Nation, An Arrow Through Chaos, recovery of "the rest and best" of Darwin's theory of evolution by a noted developer of the new field of evolutionary systems science, and Loye's creative explosion of 20 new books at age 82. This dual-biography provides an unusually inspiring, humorous, and appealing guide to Eisler and Loye's work as writers to globally advance the women's, human rights, civil rights, progressive evolution, and partnership movements globally. "For the word was meant to sing and dance and inspire us to fulfill ourselves, not to lie flat and dead on the page," Loye's Prologue concludes. "And love was meant for the world, not only for oneself and one other alone. And as a link in the chain of being on and on into the future, laughter not sorrow must be our destiny." This is the first book for the Benjamin Franklin Press publication of Loye's three book Love Cycle, with 1001 Days of Love and 100 Days of Love to follow. Cover by Barbara Schaefer and John Mason. Making Sense Out of a World Gone Mad: A Roadmap for God's Elect Living in the Final Days of the End Times
Today's world is in turmoil. Anyone of any honesty and integrity knows this. But few people dare to even talk about what's behind it or what is in store for our futures. Most of us sense that whatever is coming, cannot possibly be a good thing, although that is not entirely true. A common reaction of many is to bury their heads in the sand and pretend that life will just go on as it always has, when in their hearts, they know it won't. No source of information widely available today seems to offer any answers or to be even remotely trustworthy. Something is not at all right with the world. This is no accident. But the good news is that there are answers which explain what has happened and what some of us can do to prepare ourselves for what's coming and this book provides them. The author, David Lionheart, is a 67 year old former business management executive, and student and scholar of world history, political science, economics, psychology, philosophy, finance, business strategy, organizational behavior, sociology and biblical theology who has been led by God to discover the realities of the global conspiracy and its many obvious connections to end times Bible prophecy. His discoveries, extensively referencing the research and books of other authors who have come before him, have led him to conclude with virtual certainty that we are living in the period following the great tribulation foretold in Daniel 12 and Matthew 24 for thousands of years. This is a game changer. It means that the Bible, which claims to be the pure and inspired words of God to mankind and the source of all wisdom, knowledge and truth, is precisely what it claims to be, and is thus 100% true and trustworthy as a roadmap for what's coming very soon to every inhabitant on earth. Sadly, Bible prophecy reveals that many inhabitants of the earth in the days of the great tribulation will be deceived by many signs and wonders and false prophets and false Christs. Matthew 24:24 reveals that only the elect will not be deceived. The elect are those people, chosen by God, since before the world began, whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life who, one day, in a manner and at a timing of God's choosing and at His initiative, would receive God's Holy Spirit in them, God would orchestrate events in their lives so that they would hear the gospel of Jesus Christ preached, they would believe it and become born again adopted sons and daughters of God for all eternity. This book is written exclusively for the benefit of God's elect, by one of God's own. The author assumes no prior knowledge on the part of his readers of what the Bible says and means and he quotes extensively from it to illustrate his teachings and connects them to recent world events. Many people, those numbering among the non-elect, including wealthy and powerful global elites and their armies of "useful idiots," will have strong negative reactions to what God's watchman on the wall and messenger has to reveal to those who are of the truth and who manifest a sacrificial love for their fellow man. The hard truth is that the world has been ruled by the devil, the father of lies, and his servants for the past 6,000 years. As such, almost everything we were ever told or taught are hideous lies designed to deceive all of mankind and keep us on the road to hell we are all born into. Lionheart reveals here the most profoundly deceiving and destructive of those lies and what the truth really is, with hard evidence and simple logical reasoning to prove them, in an educated, but readable style. The book unpacks and explains the entire Book of Revelation in the Bible and other important end times prophecies, offers insights on how the elect ought to live their lives in light of the coming dramatic events and offers an extensive bibliography to encourage readers to test and challenge everything the author teaches against the sources he has used to arrive at his startling conclusions.
Who's Afraid of Helen of Troy?: An Essay on Love
David Lazar extends the language of prose poetry, mixing the classical and the high modern, the song and dance man and the Odyssean. Nothing, he finds, is as far apart as we think, except for the chaos and order, innocence and experience. Lazar's voice is a sacred last resort: something's gotta give. The voice in these poems is semi-autobiographical and performative: masked yet emotionally raw. Each poem draws on the features of modernist poetry, using an arch, cadenced sentence as its primary unit, but drawing on the Iliad, Odyssey , and other classical myths as part of its internal cosmos.
Life Force: Sensed Energy in Breathwork, Psychedelia and Chaos Magic
This is a book about subtle energy, for those who can't bring themselves to 'believe in' subtle energy. Life Force explains techniques which enable the reader to explore and celebrate the feelings that are undeniably, irrefutably real to consciousness, and appear to stem from 'subtle energies'. It explores those schemes of belief which work best for experiencing, cultivating and manipulating these subtle sensations. It is about learning new languages, the languages of breath and energy-sensing.

The Leahy / Lahey / Lahy families of County Cavan have a long history in the County. They are a distinct group of 'Leahys' isolated from the other concentrations of Leahyfamilies in Ireland. Several theories of their origins are explored along with rationales and what little evidence that exists to support them. After many years researching the Leahys in Cavan I have come to the conclusion that they (and Leahysin neighbouring counties) are all related. I have studied Church and Civil records along with census data, Wills and most importantly Land Deeds records as well as someprivate collections and have been able to create a 'Top of the Tree' structure thatfits in with all the known data. There are still plenty of holes and isolated groupsthat can't yet be connected, however I present what I see to be the most accurate Leahy family tree in County Cavan from the late 1600s to about the year 1800. This volume is about the 'Origins' and the most early Leahy / Lahy individuals that are on record. Hopefully it might provide some insight to the Leahy descendants worldwide who can't get much further back in their family history research than 'Cavan'.A second volume will describe the various Leahy groups from 1800 onwards

Having spent many hours in the Registry of Deeds I thought it may be useful for others to see thenotes I took on the Leahy deeds / Wills and marriage articles, and also notes on some Privately held deeds. This is a rich genealogical sourceoften overlooked or sometimes avoided as some of the text and language can be difficult to interpretand understand. I appreciate that not everyone has the money or time to come to Dublin and spend daysin the Registry of Deeds to extract this useful information. I systematically went through every Index of sellersfrom 1708 to 1950 and recorded every Leahy / Lahy / Lahey / Lahee / Laghy name and in most cases made notes on the deed (those with no notes have the book No, Page No and Memorial No recorded for the reader to order if of interest). In most cases I recorded the people (and any stated relationships) and land areas covered, acerage amounts and monetary values mentioned. Some deeds of particular interest to me have been transcribed in full.I have set them out in date order and indexed other surnames (witnesses, buyers, solicitors etc.) thatoccur in the deed. It should be noted that Leahys may also be recorded as 'buyers' however there areonly Indexes for the 'Sellers' names. I hope the information will be of use to genealogists somewhere.

The second Volume of a history of the Leahy / Lahey / Lahy family from County Cavan, Ireland. The first Volume examined possible origins and described the 'Top of the Tree' of the earliest known Lahys in County Cavan, whereas this Volume continues the stories of those families from about the year 1800 to 1950. There are descriptions of the main family branches and individuals who 'stood out' including many who emigrated to the USA and Australia. I've included newspaper reports, court proceedings and handed down stories, as well as maps of where they lived and photographs of some individuals where possible. Its a summary of 10 years of research (hence the large size) which I've tried to make as interesting as possible. I hope you enjoy.

This is a compilation book consisting of six short books in one, based on the stories and life experiences of six young men from Colorado who grew up together: Authors: Ryan Miller, Kyler Graff, Matthew Wood, Eric Wright, Jesse Wright, and Ethan Jones. When they wrote their respective content, they were between 18 and 20 years old.Have you ever wondered how different our world would be if our educational systems went beyond teaching the basics and actually taught success skills for life? The six authors of Think Gen Why asked themselves this question at a young age, and they discovered a whole new way of thinking that was not taught in schools. They came together in their teens and 20s to write this book because they are enthusiastic about sharing what they have learned and want to make a difference in the world. They discovered that the shortest path to success is to develop a greater sense of self-awareness and personal responsibility and to learn how to think and make decisions by following the advice of people who have already succeeded.Through their personal stories, each of these young men wants to motivate and inspire their generation, and anyone else with an open mind, to get off the excuse train and start taking responsibility for the direction of their life. They want their readers to realize that if you want to change the direction of your life, you can. You do not have to be the same person tomorrow that you are today. All it takes is having the courage to let go of old ideas and try something new. Here are some of their ideas: Kyler Graff: It is good to be different. Surround yourself with the right people. You have to make things happen. Get outside of your comfort zone. Pivot in a new direction. Be gratefulJesse Wright: Have the courage to be yourself. Change your mindset, change your life. Raise your people standards. Be the leader of your own life. Develop a winning philosophy.Matthew Wood: Change your story, change your life. Forgiveness is the ultimate solvent. Identify your why. Turn your bricks into bridges. Be gratefulRyan Miller: Have an end goal in mind. Create a plan and take action. Overcome the wobbles. Ditch your excuses. Keep your eyes on your goal. Stay Calm.Ethan Jones: Be open to making changes. Commit to personal growth. Be a coachable person. Develop a healthy mindset. Take responsibility for your outcome.J. Eric Wright: Cultivate a family environment. Double down on what you are good at. When the going gets tough, get focused. Turn challenges into opportunities.
