In this heartfelt and vividly narrated tale, young Deborah navigates the world of childhood with her playful imagination and loving family. A tragic accident leaves her with severe burns, but her resilient spirit endures. With the support of her caring mother and the miraculous skills of a gifted doctor, Deborah embarks on a journey of healing, both physically and emotionally. This touching story of courage, love, and the power of hope will stay with readers long after the last page is turned.
This memoir is about a life filled with joy and adventures, but also so many mistakes that its author thinks it could be classified as a "How not to do book." Personal and unique observations compiled through world travel, raising a family, work, love, loss and just living each day are intimately disclosed on every page. A product of the great American post war proud middle class, Deborah believes anything is possible, until it's not, and even then hangs on for the ride. What happens? Let her tell you.

Several years ago, I fell in love with photography. I started out by taking pictures of weddings and family outings. I discovered that was not enough. There were a whole lot more things to capture with my camera than people. God's creations were on display all around me. So, I started with birds, flowers, winter scenes, mushrooms, the moon, and the sky.My husband, Stephen, bought me a good digital camera so that I could get even better "shots." Thanks to him, I really enjoy what I do. Then he suggested that I make a book and fill it with my pictures, so that others could enjoy them.I put together the photos I wanted to "show" in this book. My first "coffee table" picture book. Please take the time to look at each photo and capture the beauty within it.
